Morgan used part of his vast wealth to achieve this spectacular collection of art, which is now housed in libraries and museums with his name. In addition to the permanent collection, when we were there, we liked to borrow works from the Swedish National Museum, especially (among other things) six Rembrandt drawings. Don't miss it: J.P. Morgan's private library almost retains the style of his mansion at the time, and the paintings of the fifteenth century or the Renaissance. If you want to find a tour guide, there's plenty here. There are also excellent gift shops, separate shops that offer plenty of art books, an attractive Cafe (we don't eat there). Overall impression: Great Collection - not the Metropolis or the Louvre, but it's worth your time.
