The Sudi runs through the north of West Hunan Province and is famous for the spring dawn of the ten scenery Sudi of West Lake. There are willows on both sides of the Sudi dyke, seats for cool rest, and lotus blooming by the lake in summer. Because Sudi prohibits automobile traffic, walking is a common way of transportation. It usually takes less than an hour to walk while watching but not staying. It feels good to ride bicycles around Sudi, but it's better not to ride on it when there are many people on holidays. There are basically no outlets on Sudi, but there are small shops at both ends to buy drinks and cold drinks, and there are many small restaurants at the north end to eat.
