We live right next to this church. It's really high. It used to be 159 meters. The motivation for building such a high spire was to use it as an ocean landmark. It was struck at least eight times by lightning and burned three times. St. Olaf's Church is now 123 meters high, one of the world's tallest churches, so it can't be photographed completely nearby, but it has become one of the beautiful symbols of Tallinn.
