The Scott Monument is situated on Prince Street in Edinburgh. Behind it is the Edinburgh Castle. It is built in memory of Sir Walter Scott, Scotland's most famous historian. It is a typical Gothic building. Four small minarets arch the central tower. The bottom of the tower is surrounded by arches. It's light and elegant, thick and ancient black and Brown is very shocking, you can firmly grasp your eyes at the first glance.
