Saga Chengben Maru History Museum is a museum built in the late Edo era (1838) to restore and utilize the Royal Palace of Saga Chengben Maru. It is the largest wooden restoration building in Japan. More than 700 tatami are laid in the museum. In this vast space, various historical materials related to Saga in the end of the shogunate and the new period of the Reform are displayed in many ways through data, images and models.
