Qingjing Temple, also known as the Saint Friends Temple, is located in Tumen Street, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. It is the oldest existing Islamic Temple founded by Arab Muslims in China. It was built in the second year of Dazhong Xiangfu in the Northern Song Dynasty (A.D. 1009), and is 400 years old in the Hui calendar. The Qingjing Temple covers an area of 2184 square meters. It is a stone building as a whole. It imitates the architectural form of the Islamic Chapel in Damascus, Syria. It has the characteristics of large dispersion and small concentration in the functional space of the Islamic Mosque. The main buildings retained are portico, worship hall, Mingshan Hall and so on.
