Qiantang River Bridge is located on the Qiantang River near Liuhe Tower, south of West Lake in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Mao Yisheng, a bridge expert, presided over the design, is the first double-deck railway and highway dual-purpose bridge designed and constructed by our country. Crossing the north and south of Qiantang River, it is the main road connecting Shanghai-Hangzhou-Yong Railway and Zhejiang-Jiangxi Railway. Construction of the bridge began on August 8, 1934 and opened to traffic on September 26, 1937. It took three years and one month, with a total investment of 5.4 million silver yuan. In December of the same year, before the Japanese invaded Hangzhou, the Kuomintang government ordered the bombing to be destroyed and repaired after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. The bridge is 1453 meters long and consists of two parts: approach bridge and main bridge. Sixteen main bridges and fifteen piers. The length of the lower railway bridge is 1322.1 meters, and the single-track traffic; the length of the upper highway bridge is 1453 meters, and the width is 6.1 meters (equivalent to two lanes). The sidewalks on both sides are 1.5 meters, magnificent and magnificent. In September 2016, Qiantang River Bridge was selected as the first batch of Chinese architectural heritage in the 20th century. On the Qiantang River, the order from west to East is Qiantang River Bridge (1st Bridge), Fuxing Bridge (4th Bridge), Xixing Bridge (3rd Bridge) and Qiantang River Second Bridge (2nd Bridge). Among them, Xixing Bridge does not use trucks, and the Second Bridge is also a highway and railway bridge. Qiantang River, the largest river in Zhejiang Province, flows from west to East into Hangzhou Bay and into the East China Sea. Qianjiang tidal bore is a natural wonder in the world. It is caused by the centrifugal effect of gravity of celestial bodies and the rotation of the earth, together with the special topography of Hangzhou Bay trumpet. We entered through the main entrance of Yunqi Bamboo Trail, then went up Wuyun Mountain, and then came down from Jiuxi. We were caught up with the flood on August 18 of the lunar calendar. We watched the tide on the River Road West of Qiantang River Bridge in Jiuxi, and our legs and feet were weak.
