20 mn walking distance. Any place around is nice for an outdoor dinner. Café Central for Live Jazz concerts

Located near the equally famous Puerta del Sol, this plaza hosts loads of cafes, restaurants and tapas bars for you to chill and enjoy your food like the Spaniards do. Keep an eye out for some historic monuments in the plaza.

very popular with tourists due to the concentration of theatres, bars, restaurants and nightspots - is what it is today thanks to Álvarez Gato, a state official and Carlos V's butler, who purchased land near the plaza del Arrabal, today the Plaza Mayor.
