Taohua River, formerly known as Yangjiang, Yijiang, Yangjiang or Laitang River, is the first-class tributary on the right bank of the Lijiang section of the main stream of Guijiang River, a tributary of the Pearl River system. Originated in the north of Yankou Village (formerly known as Kongli Village) of Fair Township, Lingchuan County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (originally from the southeast side of Zhongling Mountain at the junction of Linggui Wutong Township and Lingchuan Qingshitan Township), it flows through Lingchuan County, Lingui County and Guilin City. One enters the Lijiang River from the Elephant Trunk Mountains; the other enters the Lijiang River from the southern foot of the Pheasant Mountain (the tail of the radish island). Among the numerous tributaries of the Lijiang River, Taohua River has the greatest reputation, is also very romantic, but also one of the more important tributaries. The "Yangjiang Autumn Moon" is one of the eight scenic spots in ancient Guilin. Some people praise the Peach Blossom River - "not like the Lijiang River, better than the Lijiang River". Chinese name
