Miyashima, also known as Yandao, is one of the three famous sceneries in Japan. The most famous of Miyashima is the Big Bird House, which stands at the entrance of Miyashima. It means the door to the shrine. In ancient times, Miyashima was honored as "the Guardian God of the sea". Big Bird House is facing Yandao Shrine. It stands on the blue waves of the Inland Sea of Seto by its own weight. It is said that Big Bird House was built to welcome the gods of the sea to the island. When the tide ebbs, it can walk below the bird house, which is a wonder. It is said that the big bird residence is in disrepair for a long time. Next year, the bird residence will be repaired. Unfortunately, I have not seen the whole picture of the ebb tide bird residence with my own eyes. There are a group of elves living on Palace Island. Yes, deer live freely on the island. Compared with the deer in Nara, they are more leisurely and do not rob people to eat deer cakes. Because there are no deer cakes sold on the island, deer on the island are regarded as the messengers of gods, so feeding deer is strictly forbidden on the island.
