The Fujian-Taiwan Margin Museum was established in May 2006 on the west side of Hubei Province, Quanzhou City, with a total investment of 180 million yuan, covering an area of 154.2 Mu and an area of 23332 square meters. The Museum integrates collection, exhibition, research, communication and service functions. It is a demonstration base of patriotism education directly awarded by the Central Committee of Propaganda and a national youth education base awarded by the Central Committee of the League. It is also an important academic institution to study the history of relations between the mainland and Taiwan, especially between Fujian and Taiwan. It is a state-level thematic museum for Taiwan. It is a national patriotic education base and propaganda place for Taiwan, aiming at the grass-roots people of Taiwan, taking anti-independence and promoting unification as its goal. China Fujian-Taiwan Margin Museum, the main building is divided into four floors, the height is 43 meters. At its entrance, Kowloon Column , 19 meters high and 2 meters wide, is the tallest couple in the mainland of China Kowloon Column .
