Bridges across the Thames River across London are almost always very historic. The only exception may be that the Millennium Bridge has a modern structure and a lightweight, not very wide bridge across the river bank, especially as a fully pedestrian bridge. The support structure of the bridge itself clearly shows that there are no bridges with huge arches and pure supports. The skyline of St. Paul's Church in the distance is now a good angle for many visitors to take pictures of the First Financial District and the Church.
