Seeing this sculpture of a water-jet merlion, we remember that Singapore was suddenly aroused. Eleven years ago, in the spring, we traveled to Malaysia, Singapore. At that time, we did not spend much time in Singapore. It left an impression like the Merlion sculpture in front of us and the water curtain film on Sentosa Island. Here we can see more fully the modern architecture of the coastal Art Center built near the sea. The huge dome building looks like the shape of durian, which is particularly striking here. As the smallest Park in Singapore, this famous Fish-Tailed lion statue is situated on the Bank of the estuary of the Singapore River. The body of the lion-head fish standing on the top of the waves is the symbol and symbol of Singapore. It is said that the origin of the Merlion is that a prince of ancient Sumatra once saw a spiritual animal in the area, much like a lion, so he named the island Lion City, and the merlion's tail shape represents that Singapore used to be a fishing port. We stayed in this place for a long time. With water as the theme, modern architecture as the foil and tourist crowds as the new trend, people can see the charm of Singapore as a tourist city. The Fish-Tailed lion sculpture sprays a continuous water column, forming a perfect combination of static and dynamic shape, and the surrounding open-air hydrophilic bleachers, allowing tourists from all over the world to take pictures of the Fish-Tailed lion and the city landscape behind it. There are many tourists sitting on the steps connecting the Merlion sculpture and the bleachers. We also have a short rest here. Wait till night comes and the lights blossom, and the surrounding high-rise buildings and the Merlion sculptures shine or dress up in the light, echoing each other brilliantly. At night, with the decorative effect of lighting, the Merlion sculpture creates a visual effect standing above the blue wave. At the moment, the Golden Sand Hotel in Binhai Bay, the Ferris Wheel and the double helix bridge connecting the two places are also beautifully decorated and deduced by lights. The final goal of our tour today is to see this modern bridge. Walking along the watery platform of Binhai Bay, the steps of the platform are scattered with tourists from many countries. They view the beautiful night scenery of skyscrapers in the modern metropolis from different angles. There are more tourists in the nearby food center stalls to taste delicious food, ready to eat and drink enough, then slowly enjoy Singapore's beautiful city nightlife. There are many more local people running and exercising on the track near the coastal bay. Rich people always pay attention to exercising because they understand that health is more important than wealth.
