Lomond Lake, the largest lake in Scotland, England. Located in the south of the Scottish Highlands, the southern end is 27 kilometers from Glasgow. Surrounded by mountains, the south is slightly triangular. It is 39 kilometres long and 8 kilometres wide with an area of 63.7 square kilometres. The lake is only about 0.7 meters above sea level. The lake is 190 meters deep. There are 30 islands in the lake. The Lake flows southward into the Clyde River. The lake is closely related to Glasgow, Clydeside and other cities. Villas are built along the lakeside and tourism is flourishing. There are lakeside resorts such as Balkh and Adelui. In the northwest, there is a hydroelectric power station in Inwiglas.
