Lincoln Park is located in the north of downtown Chicago. It is the largest public park in Chicago, with a large area and lush trees. There are courts, beaches, Lincoln Park Zoo, Lincoln Park Conservatory and Chicago History Museum. Lincoln Park and New York Central Park are both large urban parks. Compared with New York Central Park, Chicago Lincoln Park has a lakeside feature, and Lincoln Park Zoo is much larger than New York Central Park Zoo. In Lincoln Park, the high-rise buildings in Lupu District in the South and Lake Michigan in the East are the backgrounds of visitors'photographs. It's west of the old city of Chicago. If you have time to walk around, you can enjoy the scenery of Chicago a hundred years ago. The Chicago Water Show is held every year on the third weekend of August (Saturdays and Sundays). The lakeside near Lincoln Park is the best place to watch. The subway station is far away. The brown line and the purple line of the subway get off at Armitage and walk eastward for about a mile (about 1.6 kilometers). There is a bus stop nearby.
