The Tar Temple has a history of more than 400 years. It is one of the most important monasteries of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism (Yellow Sect). It is also the birthplace of the founder of the Yellow Sect, Master Zongkaba. Monastery building is magnificent, rich in treasures, strong religious atmosphere, remember to invite a commentator, otherwise you can't see anything in a circle. The Buddhist Hall of Tar Temple is exquisitely furnished. Unfortunately, no photographs are allowed.
