Jilu City, also known as Egret City, is one of the three famous cities in Japan, and also a national treasure city pool of Japan's world cultural heritage. It is located in the center of Jilu City. It can be reached within an hour by Shinkansen from Osaka or Kyoto. It is 15 minutes'walk along two rows of ginkgo trees outside Jilu JR Station. Tickets are 1000 yen, which is not cheap for Japanese scenic spots. Looking at the Tianshou Pavilion in the distance, it really deserves the name of the city of egrets. In 2015, when we met with decoration and maintenance, we finally got a glimpse of the elegance. The Tianshou Pavilion needs to take off shoes and lift shoes all the way to the end of the visit. From the outside, Tianshou Pavilion is a five-storey building, but from the inside, it is a seven-storey building with six floors above ground and one floor below ground. It represents the highest technical wooden structure in Japan. While lifting shoes, we stand in line with narrow wooden stairs for orderly visits to the upper and lower floors. It is reported that the whole city contains ingenious organs of war wisdom.
