Hengshan Temple is located in the North Putuo Scenic Area of Hengshan Mountain, Dashidong, Longwangtang, Lushunkou District, Dalian. Its building area is 12,000 square meters. It is the largest Buddhist Temple North of the Yangtze River in China. North of the temple is the main peak of Hengshan, three peaks are connected in the same line, the mid-peak is slightly protruding, the two peaks are even, very similar to the ancient golden treasure shape, more like the big belly Maitreya Buddha statue. It can be said that the mountain body is spiritual, and the Buddha is blessed by heaven. The reconstructed Hengshan Temple, with its magnificent architectural style, is a typical structure of Buddhist monasteries in the Han Dynasty. Its external features follow the style of imperial monasteries in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The main buildings of the monasteries include: Shanmen Hall, Tianwang Hall, Yuantong Palace, Tibetan Sutra Building, etc. Hengshan Temple is the Taoist site of Guanyin Bodhisattva. The Yuantong Pavilion provides Pilu Guanyin. The Guanyin Video is a nine-meter-high camphor tree Buddha sitting. The monastery also worships many Buddhist statues, such as Maitreya Buddha, the Four Heavenly Kings, Wei Pu Bodhisattva, Vajrayana, and Gezang Bodhisattva. There is no ticket in the park. The parking fee is 10 yuan. The vegetarian buffet is 40 yuan per person on Saturdays and Sundays.
