From Beijing to Jinan West Railway Station, several of us went to Daming Lake as our first destination. We were foolishly prepared to buy tickets, but could not find a ticket office. Only a visitor knew that Daming Lake was now open free of charge. We should know that Daming Lake is one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan, and it is also an important scenic spot, open window and famous tourist attraction in Quancheng. It has famous scenic spots such as Lixia Pavilion, Tie Gong Temple and Nanfeng Temple. It receives about 2 million domestic and foreign tourists every year. It is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction. I remember many years ago when I was a soldier here, the local people asked for tickets. Today, free of charge is a great welfare for the people of Jinan. Spring has come, Daming Lake is picturesque, the water is clear and the scenery is beautiful. People come and go, good men and good women come here for spring outings, as if they had entered a paradise. Another legend tells us that there are strange lakes in Daming Lake. Strangely, there are grass and no snakes in the lake, and frogs do not call. But there are many snakes in other places of Jinan City, and frogs also call. Someone moved the silent frog from Daming Lake to another place, and the frog cried; and put the outside frog into Daming Lake, and the frog became dumb. So far, there is no scientific theory.
