The Church of Nations is located at the foot of the Olive Hill in Jerusalem, adjacent to the Garden of Quesimarie. The official name is Basilica of the Agony, where Jesus prayed the night before his arrest. There are many olive trees over hundreds of years old in Quesimarie Garden. The Church was built from 1919 to 1924, using funds from 12 different countries, which is also the origin of its common name, Universal Church. Each national symbol participating in the construction of the church is placed on the glass of the ceiling and in a small dome. Opposite the Church of Nations is the Golden Gate of the Temple Hill in Jerusalem.
