The main waterway of Venice, Italy, is connected with many small canals. Municipal transportation mostly passes through these waterways. On both sides of the Grand Canal are magnificent buildings such as palaces, churches, hotels, Roman, Gothic and Renaissance. There are three bridges built on the river, with the famous Rialto Bridge in the middle. We visited the Grand Canal in Gondola. It was a great trip.
