Beihai Old Street refers to Zhongshan Road and Zhuhai Road. Nowadays, most of the tourists are Zhuhai Middle Road. This is a century-old street, built in 1883, 1.44 kilometers long and 9 meters wide. Old Street "Lao" has its own unique style of Chinese and Western Riding Tower Architecture. Along the street, the old sites of British, French and German consulates, the old sites of Senbao Ocean Bank and Catholic Church nuns'convent, pharmacies, restaurants, tea shops, etc. have witnessed the prosperity of the North Sea, known as the fresh "modern architectural yearbook". The end of the road is the old customs site. In the old street, the old people shake the big cattail fan to enjoy the cool at the door, and the hawkers roll the shrimp cakes in the oil pan with chopsticks. Their eyes are as calm and peaceful as the old lane. Old Street nights also have a different flavor. Nearby, there is the old site of Beihai Branch of Daqing Post, which is the longest surviving post office in Guangxi. It displays Pendant lamps, saddles, gramophones, coins, coin cans and other precious items, which can be visited free of charge.
