The Angkor Academy of Arts and Culture is a public welfare institution in Cambodia. It was completed in 1992 and is located in a lane near Siem Reap Night Market. This is Cambodia's education department, which set up a traditional arts and Crafts Vocational and technical school to preserve the heritage of Angkor Wat's ancient civilization and art. Here we can learn the traditional techniques and professional skills of wood carving, stone carving, silverware, lacquerware, color painting, silk painting and silk. School workshops are available for visitors to visit. The Angkor School of Art, though small in scale, has lush tropical trees, flourishing flowers and sculptures of figures everywhere in the garden. Red walls, green trees, stone paths, winding paths, very Khmer amorous feelings, like a beautiful garden school. The craftsmen of Angkor Art School own 20% of the school and own their own trade unions. Their wages are higher than the Cambodian average. Among them are deaf-mute, disabled and young people from poor families. They depend on their own resources and work with both hands to pursue their happy life. The first picture on the left is a shop in the Angkor School of Art. It contains craftsmen's carefully carved stone, wood, silk clothing and daily necessities.
