The highlights of my Melbourne trip... frolicking horses roaming around the down town city is like time traveling back to the 19th century of Victorian England. This photo I took of the famous Flinder Street station captures the paradox of modern advancement with old cultural heritage all in one photo. The new trams speedily go up and down the street whereas the horses slowly gallop and take on tourists. Only in Melbourne where you can see such a paradox.
The second highlight is obviously the coffee! Best coffee in TOWN. Best coffee in the world! This was a free cup of coffee I’ve received at the Fine Foods Exhibition which is held annually at Southbank (but I’m not sure if it’s still happening this year due to Covid).
All artsy cultural loving people should definitely
pay a visit to Melbourne. It is full of art, heritage, amazing coffee and lovely people.
Here’s a bit of a throwback to when you could actually go out and take pictures like this. Hard to believe the world is so different now after such a short time. Anyway, if you get to Flinders Street, try to see it at night. #melbourne #tripaway
First time visit the city tour in Melbourne on Australia Day! Walking distance n free tram able to reach any tourist sightseeing spots #melbourneaustralia #australiatravel #australianopening #cityoverlook
Flinders Street Station is an iconic landmark in the heart of Melbourne that was built in 1800. The trains goes or leaves to all parts of Melbourne. Well worth to visit even though the appearance is a little run down#wintergetaway
