Londoners really do visit the V&A, because its rotating special exhibitions and the quality of its permanent collections. In recent years it’s been skewed a little too much towards pandering to baby boomers, but it’s still worth a trip. Try the Friday late evening openings and don’t miss the shop for ritzy (and pricey) design gifts
Well worth a visit and close to the Natural History and Science museums.
Just refurbished, this is one of he best "overlooked" museums in London
The new entrance to the V&A, another reason to visit. Also lots of interesting exhibitions on in the museum.
Day out for family, close to Harrods and knights bridge area
Great museum if you like creative historical culture / lifestyle
This is a wonderful museum. The scope of the art displayed is huge yet you still feel a sense of intimacy. The food at the V&A cafe is delicious and the setting is lovely. Entrance to the museum is free but a few of the special exhibits costs. The place is also massive, so wear comfortable shoes and leave lots of time to explore!
