The new entrance to the V&A, another reason to visit. Also lots of interesting exhibitions on in the museum.
Londoners really do visit the V&A, because its rotating special exhibitions and the quality of its permanent collections. In recent years it’s been skewed a little too much towards pandering to baby boomers, but it’s still worth a trip. Try the Friday late evening openings and don’t miss the shop for ritzy (and pricey) design gifts
This is a wonderful museum. The scope of the art displayed is huge yet you still feel a sense of intimacy. The food at the V&A cafe is delicious and the setting is lovely. Entrance to the museum is free but a few of the special exhibits costs. The place is also massive, so wear comfortable shoes and leave lots of time to explore!
Great art on show at this museum
I honestly feel embarrassed that I didn't know the museum existed till I was told about it a few months ago, especially since I love the Natural History Museum which is literally right opposite it! The V&A shows some of the world's finest art in all aspects from all the ages.
An interesting design museum. It is good if you enjoy design, else it could be a bore.
