I wandered onto Oxford Street on complete accident. It has beautiful photographic "aesthetics", with the old buildings, flags blowing in the wind, and pastel colors in the sun. It's a lovely place just to walk around. Shops are a bit on the luxury side, but pretty nonetheless.
Shopping! Shopping! Shopping! This is the place to buy all of the things you might ever want or need in London. It is miles long and houses more stores than I previously thought existed (clearly I'm not much for shopping). I thought the coolest part of Oxford Street was the light display around Christmas time. It was lovely to get out of the tube station to find a very well lit and decorated street awaiting me.
An incredibly vibrant shopping district! I as fortunate to visit in November when the streets are decorated with festive Christmas lights. You’ll see many familiar brands Global brands. My favorite was Primark which had very fun and inexpensive clothes that make great gifs and keepsakes.
London's most famous street if not the world's - Oxford Street has been branded as the place for expensive shopping however some of the great deals in local shops can be found here. Very close to Carnaby Street and Bond Street the network of these streets meeting Oxford Street at Oxford Circus is a shopoholic's playground.
