The World Horticultural Exposition Garden, located at the foot of Mingfeng Mountain in the northeastern suburb of Kunming, was built for the Kunming World Horticultural Exposition in 1999. Today, a small part of the Expo Garden is reserved for visitors to see flowers. Most of them have become shopping and playing places. Kunming's specialties and jade articles are sold here. They are divided into several exhibition halls, which are very lively.
Kunming World Expo Park, after we arrived in Kunming, we knew a few people who said they were not very good. We went to the Golden Palace. After the tour, there was a bus leading to the Expo Park in the Golden Palace, and we went directly to the Expo Park. The garden is very worth visiting, very good, flowers and trees are very peculiar, beautifully trimmed, clean and tidy. It is a very atmospheric and beautiful Expo Park. It's worth a visit.
Kunming World Horticulture Expo Garden (hereinafter referred to as the World Horticulture Expo Garden) is the site of the 1999 Kunming World Horticulture Expo. It is located in the Jindian Scenic Area in the northeastern suburbs of Kunming, about 4 kilometers away from the urban area of Kunming. The Expo Park covers an area of 218 hectares with a vegetation coverage of 76.7 (%) including 120 hectares of gentle slopes with dense shrubs and 10 (%) of water surface. The overall planning of the park is in line with the situation in the mountains. It combines the local characteristics of all provinces, districts and cities in China with 95 national style gardening products, garden architecture and scientific and technological achievements in one garden. It embodies the theme of the times of "man and nature, harmonious development" and is a grand garden with "Yunnan characteristics, Chinese style, world-class" gardening and horticultural products.
The Expo Park is very large, the scenery is also complete, the playability is not very big, basically are ornamental attractions, the environment is more beautiful, more features, all kinds of domestic venues, international venues and so on, is a good place for distraction.
Because other national pavilions have been withdrawn, it is no longer a real world horticultural exposition garden, and many hotels have been opened in the garden, as well as shops selling goods, so it is not pure, but the flowers on the main landscape Avenue in China are still well placed.
The scenery is general, like flowers, plants and buildings of various countries can go, with children flying kites, a large area, good air, once brilliant, now some cold, may be the reason for the large area. Tickets are a bit expensive, not too cost-effective! It's a one-off attraction!
