하느님께서 허락하시면 나는 십자가의 길을 택할거예요.
In the Holy Infant Temple, I have made a pious wish that everyone can have a good future, the reality is cruel, there are poverty and disease; there are tears and death. But I hope that those miseries and misfortunes can be far away from everyone. To understand life, we can not only read from misery, but also laugh. But these have been arranged by fate early. So I think people need to believe because some miseries are really hard to surmount and need a kind of heart.
Founded in 1565, the world-famous "baby saint" is stored here. Several of the Christians knelt down from the door to pray at the front. The Hall of the Saint-baby was facing the left side of the main hall. There was no photo shooting there, and there was a queue. They said that the Saint-baby was a wood carving. I saw that the texture was not like wood, and it was more delicate. This is the World Heritage Site. I think you should not miss it when you come to Cebu. It is said that after the baptism of the aboriginal patriarch and his wife, Magellan presented a black-skinned sculpture-quot; the statue of the baby-quot; as a gift. In 1565, Cebu battled with flames. On April 27, a fire leveled the Cebu. Only then did it - quot; the image of the Holy Infant - quot; as before, the local people called it a miracle and worshipped it.
St. Infant's Church on Cologne Street is a sacred place for Cebu Catholics to worship. The church is dedicated to the black-skinned baby saint. The most amazing thing is the sixteenth century, when the war raged. The place was almost flattened by the fire, but the baby Saint remained intact. When we went to the Church of St. Infant, it was Christmas. Like the devout Catholics, we lined up to worship the baby and listened to the holy voice in the church. The square outside the church was very open, and the priest was giving a mass in the square. On both sides of the square, there are balcony seats. It's noon and the sun is shining like fire. The people gathered sit quietly in the armchair under the shade of the tree or in the seats under the balcony. The famous Magellan Cross is next to the church. Because the local people think that only scraping a little sawdust on the cross can cure all kinds of diseases, so the cross becomes thinner and thinner. The cross can withstand the wind erosion of the years, but it can not refuse such persistent devotees. To protect it, the government made wooden cross jackets, and Magellan Cross was permanently protected. Although the true cross has been completely wrapped in a protective sheath, the enthusiasm of the prayers is not affected at all. There are still a large number of worshippers every day who offer candles of various colors to pray for peace. The price of tickets to church museums is 30 pesos. Most of the exhibits are gorgeous Bishop's dresses and statues of baby saints with different postures. They are beautiful and sacred.
Cebu Church is one of the most important tourist attractions for visitors to Cebu. It is also a world cultural heritage. It's near the Magellan Cross. It is said to be the oldest Roman Catholic Church in the Philippines. There are many cultural relics here, especially a young Jesus statue, which is very precious. There are quite a lot of people waiting in line to visit. Many people here are very religious. There are many adjacent buildings around the church. In the square outside the church, we can see many children playing. They are very happy. There are also a pool of wishes. Many people are beside it, praying very piously.
St. Infant's Cathedral is a must-punch attraction for dormitories, of course, for tourists. In fact, the city of Cebu is not big, and the dock is only about ten minutes away. In the evening of the first time I passed, I saw a big worship. Thousands of people were standing in the square. It was very spectacular. The appearance of the church is typical of the Spanish style, and it is unparalleled exquisite and solemn.
Cebu's St. Infant Church has a history of more than 500 years. It is now a world cultural heritage. It is the representative of Philippine colonial culture. It is also very important even in the world church. The frescoes in the church here are very wonderful. They are absolutely art treasures. The sculptures of the baby and the mother in the backyard are also very beautiful and sacred. They are worth visiting.
