The Palace Museum of Beijing, formerly known as the Forbidden City, is the Royal Palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties in China. It is located in the center of the central axis of Beijing and is the essence of ancient Chinese Palace architecture. Beijing Palace Museum is centered on three main halls, covering an area of 720,000 square meters, with a construction area of about 150,000 square meters. It has more than 70 palaces and more than 9,000 houses. It is one of the largest and most complete ancient wooden structures in the world. The Beijing Palace Museum was built in 1406 in Yongle, Chengzu, Ming Dynasty. It was built on the basis of Nanjing Palace Museum and completed in 1420 in Yongle. It is a rectangular city pool, 961 meters long north and south, 753 meters wide East and west, surrounded by a wall 10 meters high, and 52 meters wide moat outside. The buildings in the Forbidden City are divided into two parts: the Outer Court and the Inner Court. The center of the foreign Dynasty is the Hall of Taihe, the Hall of Zhonghe and the Hall of Baohe, which are collectively called the three halls. They are the places where the national ceremonies are held. The center of the Inner Court is the Qianqing Palace, Jiaotai Palace and Kunning Palace, which are collectively called the Hou Three Palaces and the main palace where emperors and queens live. Beijing Palace Museum is known as the top five palaces in the world (Beijing Palace Museum, Versailles Palace, Buckingham Palace, White House of the United States, Kremlin Palace of Russia). It is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction. It was listed as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units in 1961 and as a world cultural heritage in 1987.
4.15 Before May Day and after the Qingming Dynasty, I took my mother to the Palace Museum for a tour. The weather was just right. Although I had deliberately missed the holiday, there were still many people. Traffic is very convenient, Beijing South Railway Station Line 4 to Line 1, three yuan to Tian'anmen West, out of the subway entrance, not very far, you can reach the Tian'anmen security checkpoint, online search a picture, according to the order of visits from the noon gate to Shenwumen, I have to say, really big, if you walk slowly, five or six hours, you can probably finish, each palace has a brief introduction, extra. As an absolute landmark building in Beijing, the tickets for the treasure hall and clock hall are worth visiting and recommending.~

The Palace Museum, the official explanation does not go to discussion, I prefer the saying of the Palace Museum of the Forbidden City. In two years, it will be 600 years old. After the Ming and Qing Dynasties, from the Forbidden City to the Palace Museum, it has encountered too many ups and downs, wind and rain, and it still stands. Every month I come here once, I try to go all over every corner, for a long time, you will have a different feeling for it, one plant, one brick, one tile, a cat. Every month, I prefer the autumn and winter season. Only when the autumn is high and fresh, can the blue sky and white clouds be rare. Only when the snow is flying, can I bring it back to the Forbidden City. Of course, the ticket for the off-season season is the absolute truth. This year, Tian'anmen Gate is being repaired, the noon gate is being repaired, the square of Taihe Hall is being repaired, and the Kunning Palace is being repaired. The fewer cultural relics are being repaired, the less safety risks will arise if they are not repaired. This year, the Yanxi Palace Fire, once unknown places are like the city gate, once it also burned, burning nothing left. Let's say something useful. Please Baidu for the introduction of the Palace Museum. The following points are helpful - "1, location - "Never go wrong because of Jingshan Qianjie on the map. It's a hard trip. The Palace Museum is one-way, the afternoon entrance and the Shenwumen exit. 2. Traffic - "There is no parking around, so the best way to get through is the subway, the front door of Line 2, the West or east of Tiananmen on Line 1. Look at the direction you are coming in, and when you leave, see if the sign is the direction of the Forbidden City or Tiananmen Square. 3. Ticket-buying visit - "of course, you have to go first, because the special security will be very strict, so in time for the holidays, you will find that the subway is ready to start queuing for security checks, half an hour is not long, and then through Tian'anmen to enter, the way Duanmen to Wumen, if you are not in a hurry, you can consider entering around the East or West China Gate, but the walking time is also half an hour. But I can see more scenery. As for ticket purchasing, there are no paper tickets now, all two-dimensional code ticket purchasing brush ID card entry, so Ctrip can buy tickets ahead of time, and must be ahead of schedule, a daily limit of 80,000, holidays are really minutes away. 4. Circuit (personal suggestion) - "I can only say that you don't report next time. Usually you go in and out in a straight line along the central axis. Free access by the Wumen Gate, you can rent an electronic interpreter, there are maps on it, you can return when you go out, you can also buy a hand-painted map, after entering the city wall, Wumen City Building is often exhibited, the way to the southeast corner building on the side of Donghua Gate under the wall, when you go down, you can see the history of the Palace Museum, and then return to Taihe Gate, the east side of the Palace Museum is more open, so take the East side. The route and the middle route are better. The front palace and the back Palace are visited. Clock and watch halls and treasure halls are separately booked. The Kowloon Wall is in the treasure hall. It's impossible to finish walking. It's recommended to spend 5-6 hours on sightseeing. 5. Cost - "60 yuan for peak season ticket, 40 yuan for off season ticket, 20 yuan for student ticket, 30 yuan for old age ticket, 10 yuan for treasure hall, 10 yuan for clock hall. 6. Full-day arrangements (personal suggestions) - "I wanted to write details, but the number of words is limited, probably the National Grand Theatre, Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, Jingshan, Wangfujing, Qianmen. Choose this sentence at the end. "Don't see Emperor Juzhuang, the Son of Heaven in peace"
Passing through Tiananmen Gate Tower is the Palace Museum. No matter when, there are many visitors to the Palace Museum. It is suggested not to go on holidays. In order to save time, I booked the morning ticket of the Palace Museum directly in the delegation. I could enter the Palace Museum by brushing my ID card directly during the security check. Usually, according to the unique central axis design of the Palace Museum, visitors will enter the Palace Museum layer by layer and visit both sides appropriately for at least half a day. The original Forbidden City, as the imperial city, had more than 8000 rooms, large and small, with yellow tiles, red walls, gold ornaments and white stones. Centered on the three halls of Taihe Hall, Zhonghe Hall and Baohe Hall, there are also Qianqing Palace, Jiaotai Palace, Kunning Palace and the northernmost imperial garden, the Six Eastern and Western Palaces, Wenyuan Pavilion, Military Aircraft Office, Watch and Clock Hall and other buildings.
The Palace Museum is located in the center of the central axis of Beijing, 1 kilometer north of Tian'anmen Square, opposite Jingshan South Gate. It was formerly known as the Forbidden City. It is now built as the "Palace Museum". It is the largest existing palace-type building in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911). It is the largest and most complete preserved wooden structure in the world. It is said that there are 99 and a half palace rooms with yellow glazed tile roof and blue and white stone base. It is called "Sea of Palaces" and is known as the first of the five palaces in the world (Beijing Palace Museum, Versailles Palace, France, Buckingham Palace, White House, Kremlin Palace, Russia). Zhu Di, the ancestor of Ming Chengzu, started construction on the basis of the Yuandu Palace in 1406 A.D. and Yongle in the Ming Dynasty was built in 1820 (1420). Twenty-four emperors lived there. Feng Yuxiang launched the "Beijing coup" in 1924 and expelled Puyi, the Qingxun Emperor, from the palace. There are four gates in the Palace Museum. The main gate is named Wumen (the place where the emperor ordered to go out), the east gate is named Donghua Gate, the west gate is named Xihua Gate, the north gate is named Shenwumen (the Ming Dynasty is "Xuanwumen" and the Qing Emperor Kangxi period is changed to "Shenwumen" because of taboos. It is now the main gate of the Palace Museum. The whole building is magnificent and magnificent. It is listed as "World Cultural Heritage" by UNESCO. In the foreign dynasty, Taihe (commonly known as the "Jin Luan Dian" was the place where the emperor held the grand ceremony), Zhonghe, Baohe (also the place where the imperial examination was held, the top three names were the champion, the eye of the table and the flower of the imperial examination), Wenhua and Wuying Dian (the leader of the peasant rebellion army Li Zicheng invaded Beijing in 1644 and held the ceremony of ascension here) were the two wings. The inner court was centered on Qianqing Palace, Jiaotai Palace and Kunning Palace, with the East as the center. The West Sixth Palace is on both wings, surrounded by a wall 10 meters high and 3,400 meters long, with a 52-meter-wide moat outside. Some palaces in the Palace Museum have set up treasure halls, clocks and watches Museum exhibitions, accounting for one sixth of the total number of Chinese cultural relics, which is the richest Museum in China.
It was a must if you visit Beijing. There had some special things being exhibited because of the Spring Festival, like couplets, lanterns, door god and many of the traditional celebration and celebratory things. They were beautiful and delicate and old.For instance,we saw many exquisite chairs and cupboards and tables in the furniture museum. There were many tiny details and figures on it. The exhibition was great but just a little bit crowded.I was too little compared with those adults so I could hardy see these fantastic things. I saw a set of golden chimes and they are huge, shining and impressive. It also had a meandering experience. We not only went to see the exhibition but also walked around it on the city walls. There were exhibitions in the turrets too. There was one showing you how it was built and that made me gasp in admiration about our ancestors’ wise for building houses without a single nail. It was great to go for a walk on it because you can see the beautiful scenes both inside and outside. It was good to see the whole museum from up high and you can see the yellow or green roofs, the yellow ones will be golden if the sun shines on it,and the red walls.Outside, you’ll see the Jingshan Park .There were just a few people on the city walls because many of the tourists don’t know this.Things in it were still brilliant. It was a big museum and there were many long-term exhibitions. We didn’t go into all of them because we were running out of time but I know they are pretty good so I suggest you go in and have a look.I promise it won’t let you down.I know I will come back for the second,or third time.I hope you’ll have that feeling too. It’s a good place to know further about Chinese culture ,history and it was our glory!Tips:1.If you want to have a better visiting experience, you’d better go there on weekdays and there would be fewer people.2.Things in it will be a little expensive so you ought to prepare everything well and full up your tummy or bring enough money.
The Palace Museum is currently limited to 80,000 people a day. It can book tickets from the official website in advance, or from other tourist websites, and directly brush its ID card. From south to north, it enters Shenwumen Gate from Wumen Gate. It is more convenient to walk from Donghua Gate. If you enter from Tian'anmen Gate, you need to carry out an additional security inspection. There are guides for rent outside the check-in gate at noon. There are more people at the entrance and exit. It's not crowded after entering. After all, the area is vast. There are more people in the treasure hall and the clock and watch hall.
The Palace Museum must be the first stop to visit Beijing, also known as the Forbidden City. It is the largest preserved wooden complex of the Imperial Palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is called the former dynasty (the Hall of Harmony in Taihe Palace and the Hall of Harmony in Baohe Palace) to the south. It is called the Inner Court (the Palace of Emperor Qian and Qing Chengtai Palace and Kunning Palace) to the north. It is also called the area where the emperor's family lives. In addition to witnessing the people and things in historical books, the popularity of palace opera in recent years has deepened the curiosity about the Palace Museum.
A palace built in the Ming Dynasty, one scene after another, is full of historical stories. If you go to the Forbidden City, you must savor the rise and fall of the imperial home, luxury and struggle life. Because it is the imperial home, no matter the details of architecture or decoration, we can see the meticulous method of construction. It is not difficult to imagine the magnificence and brilliance of the building itself at that time. We rented the guides. The Chinese rent is 20 yuan. Every building has instructions, so we can know its functions and who lives there. The drawback is that there are too many tourists and the entrance of each palace is crowded with people. It is a pity that we can't have a good look at the interior furnishings.
