2월 2일~2월 3일Poor weather impacts Great Western Railway network-wide services기간:2026년 2월 2일 월요일~2026년 2월 3일 화요일운영사:Great Western Railway관련 정보:Recent adverse weather as a result of Storm Chandra has caused flooding between Exeter St Davids and Barnstaple / Okehampton. This has closed all lines running between these stations. This means that trains are unable to operate, and will be cancelled or revised. Disruption is expected to continue until the end of the day on Tuesday 3 February. Customer advice: The flood water still has not yet receded between Exeter St Davids and Okehampton / Barnstaple, and much of the surrounding area is under water. Great Western Railway are running a limited hourly return coach service between Exeter St Davids and Barnstaple. These services will call at Crediton and Eggesford only. An hourly non-stop coach service is running between Exeter St Davids and Okehampton. This service is limited, so please consider whether your journey is necessary before setting off. To further assist you with your journey, your ticket can be used at no extra cost on Stagecoach bus route 5 between Exeter Central (New North Road), Newton St Cyres (Belluno) and Crediton (Station Cross).

The heavy rainfall, combined with high tides, resulted in the water levels at several bridges along the line being above the level which allows for trains to run safely. Investigations took place once the water levels receded and the results of the investigations have confirmed some damage that will require repair work. This will need to be carried out before the line can be reopened and trains are able to run again. No trains will operate between Liskeard and Looe. Rail replacement transport will run as stated below. Currently, trains are not expected to run on this route until the end of the day on Wednesday 4 February. Please note there is no Sunday service on this route. Customer advice: Replacement minibuses will operate at train departure times from Liskeard and Looe. The designated stops for the replacement road transport are as follows: Liskeard - at the front of the station. Sandplace - bus stops by the station entrance. Looe - at the front of the station. If you are travelling to / from St Keyne Wishing Well Halt or Causeland please call Great Western Railway customer services on 0345 700 0125, or use the station help point for taxis to be arranged. Additionally, you may use your ticket on Transport for Cornwall bus route 73 between Liskeard and Looe at no extra cost.

Disruption is expected until 07:00 Tuesday 3 February. Customer advice: Flood water levels have continued to fall. However, services on the Island Line will remain suspended between Ryde Pier Head and Ryde St Johns Road until the water level reduces to safe levels. To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on Southern Vectis bus routes 2 and 3 between Ryde Esplanade and Shanklin. Please note Southern Vectis buses not able to call at Brading to due to flooding between Brading and Sandown. A minibus is currently shuttling between Ryde Pier Head and Ryde Esplanade, but is not running to a timetable. Travelling on Tuesday 3 February： The 05:23 Ryde St Johns Road to Ryde Pier Head as well as the 05:43 Ryde St Johns Road to Shanklin services will be cancelled. Additionally, the 06:07 service from Shanklin will start from Brading, as will the 06:03 Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin service.
