알렉스 룸스(Alex Rooms)

Alex Rooms offers the best value for money I could find in Amsterdam. The room includes very useful facilities including a mini fridge and a balcony. The bed was very comfortable. There was a good TV set, a desk, chair and bed side table, all very appreciated. The room was clean and modern. The only reasons I did not give 5 are that the shower flow was too low, although I suspect this may be a problem for the area and not the room itself. And the room is a little out of the way and about a 40 min walk from the nearest train station. Still it is very reasonable and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. And beautiful canal also nearby. I will definitely rent a room again at Alex Rooms.

Train station little bit far, but location is very cool. I will prefer again but should be more clean rooms.

There is no private parking. I complained and they say I could park in the street. Don’t arrive around closing time because there is no reception at the “hotel”. In reality, it is an adapted house with private rooms. It is not recommended for the elderly because the stairs are not standard and dangerous. The reception is made at a Hotel of the owner and the lady that answered the bell/phone did not speak a good english. Prepare to get stressed.

Well priced B&B to rest your head

Nice local community location with parking just behind building at local Supermarket. Only thing that can improve is the washing of towels. I found a ball of long hair in one of mine but sure this does not happen all the time. Overall great value for money and a good stay. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Camera sporca, al limite della decenza, finestra rotta con aria fredda che entrava, odore da fumo e di sporcizia, letto con macchie indescrivibili. Bagno in situazione penosa. Lontano dalla stazione ,per raggiungere il centro ci vogliono almeno 40 minuti camminando velocemente. Unica nota positiva è il parcheggio che comunque si prende in prestito dal lidl che c'è lì vicino. Comunque allucinante che ci possa essere una struttura così sporca,evidentemente la camera non era stata pulita ma solo rimessa velocemente in ordine, le macchie sulla biancheria erano disgustose.

2階の左側の部屋に滞在しました。(5番) Halfweg Zwanenburgの駅から歩いて20分くらいです。遠くは無いですが、近くは無いです。 空港から地下鉄で駅に行き、スーツケースと荷物を持って行くのは少ししんどかったので、タクシーで行くのが無難かもしれません。 チェックインするときは別の近くのホテルに行く必要があり、疲れていたのでそれも地味に遠く感じました。 部屋は広くは無いですが日当たりが良くて、浴室や水回りが良く手入れされていて不快感がありませんでした。 ただ、床にカーペットが敷かれてありその上がゴミだらけで、スーツケース開けて服を取り出す時気持ち悪かったです。 海外では多くの方が土足なので仕方無いですが、気になる方はスリッパ持参した方が良いです。(オランダにはスリッパ売ってなくて私たち夫婦はアムステルダムのH&Mでスリッパをようやく発見) 後は、小さい備え付けの冷蔵庫が全く機能してません。なので、夏に行かれる場合はあまりお勧めしません。 冬でしたら、大きなバルコニーがあるのでそこに置いて置けばビールとかキンキンに冷えます。 近くの家は、お年寄りが多いイメージでした。なので静かで治安がとても良かったです。 アルパートハイン、リドルが徒歩圏内にあります。 清掃の女性は英語がいまいち話せない方でしたが、優しくて丁寧なスタッフさんでした。
