This hotel does not yet understand who they are or what they seek to do. The staff needs training, and the management needs to remember that the brand carries certain values. In short, the staff isn’t trained on how to interact with clients, in room dining is non existent during off hours (answering machine with no call back 😂) and construction around the hotel. While this property tries to understand who they are, go somewhere else, like Baur au Lac. Whether it’s your first time or you are a regular, you will be greeted with warmth, professionalism and genuine standard of service. Usually these are qualities that are used to describe Mandarin Hotels, but they are non existent at the Zurich property. I can only wish the GM, Mr Bradford, good luck. But as a client who has a choice, I would not return here again.
