Their best rooms are the sea facing. Insist on them. The place can be bit noisy in the other rooms. The Staff was friendly. No gym. The beach can be rough so you need to be careful. But thwa wateris very wait. A morning walk on the beach is a must do.

It was just amazing! The food is delicious, the view is amazing and the people are so kind and friendly towards you! The guide we went with (Eduan) was really friendly and so funny. I enjoyed driving with him and I really enjoyed the time there!!! 😁

Babanango Game Reserve/Zulu Rock Lodge is a must visit. The quality and service are exceptional. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a premium bush getaway.

a truly beautiful park that is developing in a natural way. The lodge is beautifully situated on a hill with a stunning view of the valley. The service is excellent and of a high standard. The guides are very knowledgeable and know a lot about the animals and the different plants in the park. The food is really of very high quality and very good and varied. The rooms are spacious with a nice fireplace. They have a veranda that overlooks the valley. It is an unfenced park so the animals walk freely around the house.

We went there for my 70 th birthday. We had the stunning honeymoon suite with its private pool. Accomodation fabulous. The restaurant has a beautiful setting. The food was great. Service was great. As a very special event they allowed us to eat in the room. The room was beautifully decorated for my 70 th Thank you room staff. Beautiful job. The birthday meal was special. Thank you every one for making it so special. Theo is an exceptional guide. He fetched us during the day to witness the closest encounter I’ve ever had to elegant. Watching them bath in the mad was special. He knows the elephants and that is so obvious., Thank you Theo - you made our stay incredible. Great place - highly recommend it.

Four adults (family) stayed for 3 days and 2 nights at Zulu Rock Lodge Family Villa at Babanango Game Reserve. The location is spectacular, the accommodations wonderful, the food absolutely outstanding and the game drives exceeded our expectations. Cifico, our ranger guide, spoke excellent English, worked diligently to find all of the Big 5 (we found all but the cheetah), and patiently explained about all of the other animals we encountered and how they fit into the African landscape. Cifico was outstanding!!! We highly recommend Babanango, Zulu Rock Lodge and Cifico!

The absolute best staff you will ever come across! We stayed in the Zulu Rock Lodge and had a wonderful time. Each room has an incredible view, beautiful rooms, and such thought out details. Really the staff made it all worth it. Theo was our guide and made our trip worth it completely, he was warm, welcoming, and super knowledgeable.

Enjoyed our game drives with Andreas! The food!!! Wow! The chef never missed! The staff is amazing and patient. And a big thank you to the lady who assisted my partner with the booking! You made my birthday a memorable one.

What an amazing hidden gem Zulu Rock lodge turned out to be. Every single staff member we encountered was right on the money. The food was brilliant with great options for every meal and local twists to some favorites. The Beautiful rooms were spotless and really nicely designed and finished. Artist and Graham were 2 of the most knowledgeable and friendly I have ever met. Whilst still a fairly new reserve it has all the big 5 and a good variety of the others.
