SIXX Hotel (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park)

Amazing hotel! Everything is new, the view is great and breakfast is decent. Very helpful stuff! Would definitely recommend it to my friends !

Location of the hotel is phenomenal, 5 minutes walk from the west entrance of the park. Customer service is also fantastic, very helpful in getting tickets and arranging everything for us. The only problem is something about the area in general, humidity is insanely high all the time so you could see that it affects all the structures nearby, pool was ok but dirty since it was raining every night. Overall a pretty good experience

Location: I can’t fault the location. It’s a nice 10 minute walk to one of the main entrances to the National Park and a 30 minute walk to the town centre. Service: The staff are very helpful with booking tickets to all major attractions, which usually have to be booked in advance. They can also organize transportation to attractions if needed. Facilities: We were disappointed with the condition of the hotel, as it seems it hasn’t been looked after. For this reason we wouldn’t recommend this to our friends. The photos shown are definitely when the hotel first opened and doesn’t represent the hotel as it is today. We booked the family room which was spacious and had a nice balcony. Food: Breakfast was very similar every morning and consisted of a fried egg, a sausage, piece of bread, and some kind of noodles. There was also rice congee and some buns available.

The location was great. Super close walking distance from the Wulingyuan park, and also a 20ish minute walk into the town. Lovely area. The design of the place is modern industrial; loved the aesthetics. Could use some better maintenance (needs regrouting, new paint job for walls, etc.) but overall, quite clean and simple. Would recommend.

The location was great but my room didn't quite look like the pictures. My room did not have a view. It looked onto a wooden wall and on the patio there was a half wall and i could see my neighbors patio. It did have the tub outside, but it didn't look like the picture. It was this cement stucco material so didn't look comfortable to sit in. The shower had mildew in it and we had to get a humidifier for the room. The hallway that led to the room looked a little rough with water stains on the floor. They did have the pool outside but it was dirty. I think if they would have maintained the facilities like the pool it would have been a better experience. At least clean the pool. My friend stayed on the fourth floor and her room looked more like the picture. The staff was nice and arranged transport to the airport.

The hotel is in a nice location but the rooms aren’t as as good as advertised. I was unlucky and ended up with a room that had moisture all over the floor. The staff claimed it was humidity, but even with a dehumidifier, the floor was damp for the entire 3 day stay.

The location is perfect as it’s right near the bus station to go into the park. Lovely helpful staff members. I would recommend.

This hotel is in a great location if you want to be near the avatar mountains and glass bridge. It’s walking distance to one of the entrances or exits depending on how you want to plan your trip. Reception were incredible and helped every step of the way messaging on wechat to ensure we were satisfied. Only issue is the windows don’t fully close so rooms gather a lot of wild insects. Overall great stay and incredible hotel.

Nice hotel and hotel room. It is right on the river so a bit humid. Also please note it's at the end of the road, and to access the city and the zhangjiajie park, you ll need to walk 20min or take a didi.
