We had an absolutely lovely time here - the staff were excellent – the owner really makes an effort to spend time with guests, the room was great (plenty of space, cracking view) and food was delicious. We will gladly go back again as soon as we can...

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a road trip as we wanted to visit the magnificent Swiss National Park. The location was perfect; just a few minutes by car or the local bus service. There is plenty of on-site parking, Our room was quiet, simply but comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent; we particularly liked the dinner menu which included a very good choice of local dishes, wines and beers. The staff were all very helpful and the icing on the cake was the warm, personal welcome from the owners, both of whom went out of their way to ensure that their guests were happy. They are to be congratulated for running such a wonderful establishment. In short, a memorable stay and I hope we get the chance to return soon. My husband and I recently spent three nights at the Hotel Baer & Post in Zernez, Switzerland and absolutely loved everything about it. Our room was spacious, clean, pretty and quiet. Beds, duvets and pillows were so luxurious. Breakfast great as well as dinner. The owner welcomed us and made us feel so at home. We had a great time exploring the beautiful area and were thankful to have such a lovely hotel to return to. Stay here….you won't be disappointed!

We have passed by here several times but in the past always stayed in Klosters - however in May Klosters is shut, so we looked further afield for another stopover and to be honest, Klosters being shut did us a favour as we 'found' the Baer und Post. I'd guess probably an old coaching /post inn once, but now a medium-sized, modernised and very comfortable hotel in the Engadin Valley. Very well placed if going on towards or from the South Tyrol and handy before tackling the Fluela Pass. The scenery around the town is, as you'd expect, pretty stunning. Anyway, a mix of new rooms and older ones in the main building that have been thoroughly and recently modernised all in the 'modern Tyrolean' style - i.e. lots of pine and spruce, stone and simple, muted colours, stylishly and tastefully decorated. The older rooms seem to have been very well modernised. A wing is being refurbished so will add to capacity. We stayed in both a modern (at the back) (more spacious) and older refurbished (at the front) room, both were very good, comfortable, clean, practical and despite the main road, quiet. The very pretty restaurant serves wholesome, simple food rather than gourmet cooking, but is pleasant, tasty and to be honest, a nice change from some overblown hotel dinners. Breakfasts are good, with nice bread, rolls, and the usual cheeses and meats etc. The bar area is pretty, cosy and comfortable, there are seats in the courtyard outside in good weather. Staff all very pleasant, friendly and helpful. There is a lot of parking to the side and rear. Overall, as very pleasant and comfortable place to stay and highly recommended. From now on, we'll be staying here, sorry Klosters!

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The owners and staff are super friendly. They provided good advice in visiting the Swiss National Park. Its location may not be closest to the train station, but is very convenient to visit the Swiss National Park Centre. Behind the hotel is beautiful reformed church with beautiful stuccoes "in the style of the early Baroque for Graubünden"

This was my second stay in Zernez, my first at Baer&Post. It was thoroughly enjoyable. We arrived late in the day, so decided to have dinner in their restaurant. A great decision! So great, in fact, we chose to eat there our second night as well. Food was plentiful, delicious, and well priced. Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely patio (had it been warmer, we would have used it). The owner was pleasant and very helpful in making some arrangements for us. Highly recommend.

Great place to spend a night. The hotel is family run, very cosy and clean, with local style furniture. Our sleeping room was spacious, the bedroom was decent and the bed just great. They have a small sauna, which is nice and great to have. We had the dinner at the restaurant and was very good too.

Hier kann man sich rundum so richtig entspannen und wohlfühlen. Wir wurden vom familiären Team mit erstklassigem Essen bewirtet. Im heimeligen Wellnessbereich kann man sich hervorragend von den sportlichen Aktivitäten ausruhen und regenerieren. Wir kommen gerne wieder :-), vielen Dank!
