I stayed here for a month, so I got a pretty decent beat on the place: Pros: You’re a 15 minute walk from Matterhorn express Cons: This is an apartment, not a hotel. There is no soap. And you are expected to clean the apartment. You are about a 30 minute walk from town, which is the most beautiful part of Zermatt. The apartment is much smaller than shown in the pictures. I never would have paid as much, had I known what it was. The owner is a stickler. On checkout, even after being there for 30 days, I expected to check out at 11AM, and he shows up at 9:30. “Get out,” he says. I asked - “please give me an hour,” not realizing a 9am checkout. “You don’t have it. Get out in 30 minutes”. He was rather rude? And throughout the stay, he had been rather rude even though I am a customer paying $260 per night.

Great hotel experience at Hotel Mountain Paradise! Great location within walking distance to the town. Beautiful mountain views from the room. The staff is very nice and helpful. Nice breakfast provided each day with great views of The Matterhorn! Highly recommend!

Lovely wee place to stay in Zermatt and easy enough to get to from the train station using the bus. We were only here for one night as we were taking the Glacier Express but would have been nice to stay longer. They gave us a free upgrade to a Matterhorn view room with a balcony and the view was stunning! Service was really friendly and helpful and they also recommended a good restaurant that was just across the road which was also really good. Excellent breakfast set us up for the day! Would definitely recommend a stay here

Loved staying at this hotel. It was so clean and well/kept with a fantastic breakfast, comfortable bedding, friendly and helpful multi-lingual staff, quiet, and with the most wonderful view of the Matterhorn. It is nice to be on the far south side of town and near the lift to Furi (although it is a far but pleasant walk from the train station all the way across town). Breakfast buffet had incredible food and lounge area showing mountaintop conditions on big screen. There were ski racks, sauna, and steam bath available. The balcony was fantastic. Even the pillows were soft and comfortable for a wonderful nights sleep with our door cracked to let in the mountain air!

A three star hotel with 5 star accommodations and view Simply magnificent I have a perfect view from my room and my balcony of the Matterhorn Amazing Hotel Conditions are impeccable, staff is gracious helpful and accommodating A lesson in hospitality. Only one downside, it is on fringe of commercial area so free bus or taxi are a must to downtown but skiing is just is Literally just meters away Go and enjoy
