Extremely friendly, nice view, delicious food. In 1 word perfect. Although there were only few guests the breakfast containt everything you find in a larger scale hotel. Private parking Dinner was 1* level with delicious sea anemone as speciality

Simply the best boutique hotel we’ve stayed in. Huge credit to the owners to have created such a beautiful place to relax in and to be able to enjoy Zarautz from. Everything is finished to such an amazingly high standard and what a view of the beach. The staff obviously enjoy working here and this is reflected in the service we received. Our room had a super comfy bed with views of the early morning surfers, a separate lounge area and the bath room had an inspired walk in shower as well as a bath. Try the heated infinity pool. Sit on the gorgeous terrace and dine in the restaurant. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed and I can see why their reputation is building so quickly. Love it.

Just a year old, the Hotel Ur Bare excels at just about any metric you’d want to use. For a start, the location is perfect, right on the edge of the coast overlooking the Zarautz beach. The design of the hotel is very pleasing, with modern neutral colours, wood and stone. I asked for a room with a sea view and was rewarded with a large suite with a balcony overlooking the ocean and beach. The room had every modern convenience, walk in shower, bathtub, and an extremely comfortable bed. With the sea air and soft pillows, I slept like a log. Not surprising because I also had a long lunch in the restaurant, which was excellent. On top of the great location and building, the staff are relaxed and friendly going out of their way to make you feel at home. Going on a road trip? There’s parking just by the entrance to reception, make sure you book a space. In summary, I chose the Hotel Ur Bare by searching the web, always a risk, but I struck gold as it exceeded my expectations.

What a wonderful, quaint and friendly hotel. With just 13 rooms you need to book early. The hotel was beautifully decorated. Modern, fresh and clean. It was spacious. The breakfast was brilliant and devoid of usual hotel ‘cheap’ condiments. With fresh jams made locally and juices from heaven. We didn’t eat here but given how busy it was the restaurant was clearly a hit. Our room overlooked the bay. With amazing sunrises across the shimmering breaking waves. The beds super-comfortable and fresh Egyptian cotton sheets. The roof top pool was superb. Just the perfect end to a day on the beach.

Only lateral sea view from the room (paid as a sea view room) and very noisy as the room is located just above a cafe open until very late in the night. For the price paid it is absolutely unacceptable. I would not raccomend as there is a lot of better offer for this price or less just there around.

El hotel está equipado con la una alta tecnología, incluyendo 4 cargadores para vehículos eléctricos. La calidad de los acabados es fantástica: grifería, climatización, ventanas, etc. Además su ubicación frente a la playa de Zarauz es espectacular y ayuda a disfrutar de la experiencia de relax. Al ser un hotel pequeño la atención es muy personalizada y desde aquí quiero felicitar a Oihana por su exquisito trato. Por todo ello la relación calidad-precio nos pareció muy adecuada. A modo de sugerencia para mejorar, habría que cuidar más pequeños detalles como ofrecer una piscina climatizada aunque no lo esté: a pesar de ir en invierno nos habíamos hecho ilusiones de poder disfrutarla. Pero entiendo que el coste energético es enorme y no siempre compensa.
