Mariana Hotel

Hotel was very nice, big swimming pool, rooms look exactly like on the pictures nothing special, but clean. No children so was very peaceful and relaxing. They charge 50 euro deposit, but they gave back to us when we checked out. Only minus they charge sth like 70 euro for air conditioning if you want one and internet you have only for free when you are on swimming pool's area.

I couldn't fault this place. Staff were lovely, rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice distance from the ***** of bars, beach and nightclubs but not too far to walk either. There is a spar a few minutes away to buy bottled water to leave in the room. Pool is lovely, spotless clean and relaxing. Breakfast is very nice too. We got our deposit back no problem so I don't understand why other people didn't, unless they damaged things in the room. I would definitely stay here again. Hopefully you won't need to go to a hospital, but the local hospital is very efficient, it is 25 euro in a taxi to the hospital and it is 25 euro in a taxi to the airport.

BEST HOLIDAY OF OUR LIFE ! when we arrive first impression was mind blowing so beautiful exotic tropical with massive swimming pool , palm trees surrounded all around the hotel ! The reception was exceptional kind professionalism top level. The rooms were deffo on same level as 5 star hotel very spacious, luxurious and bulletproof from noise was what we were dreaming all year for. You could tell the owner spends ridiculously big amount of money maintaining them well done! The bar-woman was very sweet and so good at her job, her knowledge was like a cocktail- book. She gave us a lot of shots and 2 rounds of drinks free, as we made a reasonable bill (lmfao). The cleaners cleaned the room everyday and gave us extra pillows and extra bedding sheets! The beach is only 10 minutes walk. If you are tired from the routine work-and home MARIANA hotel is the hotel for you it’s a guarantee quality investment time for you and your family I recommend it. Stayed in Mariana hotel 10 days! First impression when we arrive is how beautiful, clean exotic tropical was, with swimming pool and all surrounding by tropical palms! the Reception was very welcoming and very kind and warm welcome professional! The rooms were luxurious and spacious deffo were on 5 star level with cleaners cleaning it daily made our holiday special! The bar-woman was very friendly and made the best cocktails her knowledge for the bar was like a book very impressed and she gave us free drinks after we bought 3 rounds was very nice of her! In general I would recommend it to anyone money value is investment to yourself and your family for a guaranteed posh and luxurious experience holiday ! Shout out for the staff thank you ! Is also 10 min walk to the beach you could not ask for more !

DON'T GO HERE! On the arrival, everything was great, and we thought it's going to be a nice stay, but on our 4th day 300€ was stolen from our room. 100€ each (what are the chances 🤷🏼‍♀️). The hotel manager was very nice at first, but in the end she protected the cleaning lady or someone else who probably took it, and tried to tell us we left the door open, even after she looked at the cameras and saw nothing on there (plus it would be almost impossible to go through the balcony, as there are 2 doors on the second floor). We knew we couldn't get anything back and decided to enjoy the last 2 days without police and all the fuss, but it was definitely a major disappointment. We didn't come to Zakinthos to drink and party, we came to have a vacation and rest, so we know we didn't lose it or spend it. And I will never get over how people can be like this, but I guess that's how this life works, which makes me really sad 😏 I regret a little bit about not calling the police, but I guess what goes around comes around. We'll see.

They present themselves as a cheap hotel and then scam you as much as possible. Went on a Lads holiday, last minute as our previous one was cancelled, 9 of us in 3 rooms, one of 4, 3 and 2. Upon arrival we gave a €50 deposit per person, as all have to, then we’re told if we wanted aircon it would be €10 per night per room, same for wifi and for a safe an extra €10. As it was 35 degrees we went for aircon, and needed a safe for our passports. Before entering our rooms we’d already handed over €670. Generally you get what you pay for, it’s cheap nightly rate, it’s alright, beds are uncomfortable but manageable, and if you’re going out every night til late you’ll be fine. Only thing is maids are very rude, and despite my mate being ill and not bothered about having his bed changed, she shouted and insisted he got up. There’s a bar in the pool area, don’t bother, eat elsewhere the prices in the hotel are extortionate. The reason for the terrible review is due to the check out. They check your room to see if they want to give you your deposit back. For the room of 4 all was fine. For the room of 2, a piece of glass had been broken, it was our fault but was only small and they took €80 for it. Absolute joke, and the woman just kept telling us it was inflation. In the room of 3 they charged us €100 for apparently having 2 extra guests, we were told that this charge was a thing at check in so decided not to have anyone over yet they still lied to our faces. They couldn’t tell us the gender of who supposedly came over just that it happens at 7pm, every day we were in the pool at that time. Apparently they had it on CCTV, once we asked to see it, they couldn’t and it changed to the receptionist seeing the people go into our room, despite there being multiple walls between the reception and the door to the room. We got aggressive and rightly so, and threatened to call the police, after which the woman shouted and went off to get a manger who finally agreed to give us our money back. They think that because they deal with young groups they can scam them and they won’t put up a fight. If it happens to you, argue your case and get aggressive they should back down when they realise you won’t accept it. Overall, it’s a 2 star hotel, 2 star quality yet they try and scam you for every single penny. Don’t stay here or fall for it.

Dont sweat on the bedsheets because ur get fined🫣 dont take a friend in ur room even if ur in the same party u will get fined? You cant drink water around the pool if its not purchased from the place? The list is endless.. infact they have so many cameras it felt like being on big brother

Total Sham of a place... They take 50 damages deposit from each visitor on entering, knowing full well no 1 is getting that back. You get fined for suncream on bedsheets, you get charged to take a friend in your room, even if your holidaying with that person.. the list is honestly endless. Scamming people know exactly what there doing.

After reading the reviews upon arrival we was quite apprehensive but it wasn’t all as bad as they are made out to be. You do have to pay €50 euro deposit each when you arrive just in case you break anything but they do give it back. We broke one plastic chair so they took €20. The rooms are basic but they are okay and the pillows on the beds are comfy. Pool bar is also basic we lived off crisps and cheesey fries. All the staff are nice and polite but just don’t do anything to annoy the australian men. Other than that you can’t really complain you get what you pay for. If you’re going on a family holiday or a chilled holiday maybe this is not the place to stay because it is full of young people there on a party holiday.
