The cottage I stayed in with my disabled mother had everything that you needed to make the stay easy. The hosts are really friendly and very helpful. The extra little touches were lovely. Would recommend these cottages to anyone. They are so spacious and equipped with everything a disabled person will require to make it feel like they are in their own home.

Comfortable and accessible accommodation with everything you need for great stay. 15 minutes from York and 10 from Selby it is close to amenities but far enough away to be quite. Great hosrs5sho greeted us in arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Thank you Rod and Peggy for our wonderful weekend stay at Crown Cottage. We have found accommodation for disability hard to come by and your bungalow far exceeded our expectation. It had everything we needed and more. The location was central to a lot of local attractions and were easy to get to and we have loads yet to visit. Your information booklet was fab and the delicious lemon drizzle cake was to ‘die’ for. Thank you so much for your hospitality and overall our weekend away was definitely 5 star*****we hope to return in the future, until then stay well. Very friendly, helpful and a good understanding of disabled needs. We have been twice and would certainly be going back definitely the best accessible accommodation we have found Tips for other travellers Air museum, farm museum, Tulips at Burnby Hall Gardens, Skipwith Common walk, Selby, The Deep and Ferens Art Gallery at Hull, Lotherton Hall, Towton battle field Good food at Lotherton Hall, Burnby Hall and Ferens Mr Cs fish and chips Selby We didn't go into York but nearest park and ride is 6 miles

Easy access, easy to locate, good pitches on grass or hardstanding (we are caravanners) Easy bus access to York from nearby village. Water supply arrangements could be improved but other than that a quiet site with plenty to do and see close by.
