Mount Wycheproof Motor Inn

This is a great regional Motel. Super friendly staff , spotlessly clean and comfortable well appointed rooms. Rooms have been freshly renovated and its location is right in the heart of town. Try the Royal Mail Hotel next door for a fabulous pub feed with a couple of drinks.

We were blown away by our experience at Mount Wycheproof Motor Inn. We had to travel during the Oct 2022 Victorian floods to get to a family funeral (5 hours away). We rocked up without a reservation at 8:40pm at night, hoping for the best. We'd spent five hours on the road and had only made it two hours into our journey because of all the water. The owner organised a room for us within minutes. And when we asked if there were any food places open in town, she offered us a hot meal - a delicious butter chicken - and didn't even charge us. The kind gesture was so unexpected, and we were really grateful.

We enjoyed a great stay at this motel . The new owner was very obliging & helpful . The bed , linen & pillow were very comfortable and the shower was spacious and great pressure . The bathroom is retro and unique . I look forward to our next visit .

The motel is old but very clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Facilities are provided for you to be able to eat in the room or there is a hotel serving meals 2 doors down. The owners were so friendly and helpful, suggesting places to eat and visit in the area. I will be back to stay on my next visit to the area.

When checking in all the covid protocols were used. I asked if he could suggest a place to eat and recommended the Terminus Hotel where we would get a discount on showing our motel key (which we did, enjoyed an excellent meal and received the discount) The room was clean and airy. Beds comfy. We had a globe missing from a bedside lamp, rang reception and he came up and replaced. When we thanked him, he said ‘no problems, that’s what I’m here for’ The only tiny little thing that was a bit outdated was the Wi-Fi login info in the visitors guide, but that was sorted when he came to replace globe

This was a rush booking, as we had to get out of a lock-down area before midnight. We arrived late, and the owner had left the light on & key in the door for us. The room was a great surprise. There had been renovations done, and it was very comfortable & roomy. Great bathroom. The owner was very pleasant to deal with. Good value for money. WiIl definitely come back to look around the area.

It deoends what you are h asppy with. The bathroom in particular was in desperate need of an uograde, tv had no reception..v fuzzy, chipped benches etc, j uyst not pleasant.
