A warm welcome on arrival, ample parking, a beautiful garden area at the front, the reception is spotless, the room is spotless and smells fresh , the hotel is well maintained inside and out, it is highly recommended, I cannot find a negative

My company booked a a family room for me. Turning up at booking the lady Bev was very rude and lost the key. Offered me a disabled room which I declined as wasn’t what had been payed for. Asked for an exchange of booking to another Travelodge close by but she didn’t know how to do that and was also on the phone talking to someone else as well. Then all of a sudden offered me a room but said she would need to clean it ( bearing in mind I was waiting over an hour for this to be sorted so I said no )

Absolutely lovely little hotel this! Was abit nervous arriving to be honest due To the last review. There is no travellers site there, it’s a caravan selling site! Hotel was so lovely, clean and comfortable, the lady on reception was very friendly and helpful! We requested a travel cot for the room too, which was put up before we arrived! Bathroom nice and clean plenty of towels! Shower lovely! We would absolutely stay here again!

Husband stayed for work. Literally on the same grounds at traveller site. Polish men staying In hotel 2 of the 3 nights they were outside on the green partying with speakers extremely loud until early hours. Wouldn't stay again. Need to be in the area again for another 2 weeks. But booked elsewhere

Great friendly and helpful front desk, clean common areas, room clean, extra towels when needed, easy to use control for room temperature, endless supply of tea & coffee. Excellent location, restaurant on same site, nice pub within walking distance, shop around the corner. Travelodge, safe knowing what you’re getting when you book. Happily staying again in a few weeks.

Ideal stop for us to attend a cat show the following day, allowing us to travel to hotel and have a relaxed evening and sleep, waking up to face the busy day fresh. The Receptionist was friendly, offered extra tea and milk if required. Room was clean, well set out with everything we needed.

When we arrived we were greeted and almost thrown the keys to the room. The hotel smelt heavily of bleach. The room needed a good clean. Bathroom floor was filthy, especially behind the door where the cleaners never closed the door. Cobwebs above the bed, bottle caps and tissues under the bed and dirty windows/net curtains. The room was also quite noisy from other people staying. We asked for 2 extra pillows and the frown the lady on reception pulled was almost as if we had asked her to move the world. The outside needed a good tidy up. Rubbish all over the car park and in the plants.

Car park is dodgy, as we pulled up, we noticed 3 cars had been broken in to and trashed. The hotel stinks, it’s like an old people’s home. The corridors are dirty and dusty. The room smelt of damp and was cold. The bins hadn’t been emptied, bedding had stains on. We ended up booking a lovely room in a manor hotel about 10 mins away! Was 1000x better and cheaper.

After doing our research, we decided to book the accessible room at Hartlebury. I'm disabled and needed a walk in shower with grab rails. On booking, we were asked to phone reception and ask for the accessible room on the ground floor, which we did. However, the bathroom was equipped with a bath, albeit with grab rails, but not what we asked for. The lady on reception was so kind and helpful and gave me a step stool to get into the bath. I couldn't use the stool either and on reflection, the receptionist agreed that it wasn't safe. She showed me a safer way to access the bath, so I could then use the shower. Unfortunately I omitted to look at the toilet until I needed to use it and it was so tall, that I couldn't get up onto it without help. It was way taller than a wheelchair, so sliding over would have been impossible. I eventually asked the receptionist if there was a different room with a normal height toilet we could change to. She swopped us over with no hassle at all, apologising for not having a fully accessible room for us. The other problem had been with the bed, it was too low and too close to the wall for a wheelchair user, but I managed somewhat. The new room was much better set out with a higher bed. I've given 4 stars as we didn't get initially a fully accessible room, but the service and help from the staff was excellent and they made our 2 day stay much more pleasant and comfortable. Thank you ladies, you deserve a gold star each of you! The rooms were clean, fresh, warm and stocked well with toiletries, towels and refreshments. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed a good quiet night's sleep. Free parking too, set well back from the road.
