The Christopher Hotel, Eton

Really enjoyed our stay at The Christopher. Room was a good size and spotlessly clean. Warm welcome on arrival and all staff friendly and attentive. Good choice of food at breakfast and good quality ingredients. Ideally placed for Eton high street and a short walk to Windsor castle and high street.

We impulse booked at the last minute for our wedding anniversary. The hotel is very well located on Eton High Street just 10 minutes walk from Windsor Castle, so you're close to the Windsor attractions but not in the midst of them! I called ahead to check that the on-site parking was available (it was, £15, as advertised), and when speaking to Sam I mentioned that it was our anniversary. On arrival we found that we had been upgraded and had a complimentary drink on arrival - we also had a card and a lovely box of chocolates in our room. Our room had a super-comfy massive bed and the double walk-in shower was excellently powerful! White Company toiletries are also a nice touch. As was the fact that breakfast is included in your room-rate. All of the staff we met were very friendly and all-in-all we had a lovely stay. We would very happily return to the Christopher next time we visit Eton and Windsor.

What a wonderful gem this boutique hotel is. Such friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room, great decor, comfortable bed and bedding. On site parking a bonus. Breakfast was amazing so fresh and tasty. Great location, within walking distance of all attractions. Would highly recommend. Five star plus rating 🌟🌟

Little Gem. Great location, 10 minute walk from Windsor Castle & Shopping Centre. Room was fabulous. Great decoration, Bathroom with bath and shower. Excellent facilities. The room was beautifully clean would highly recommend. Parking on site. Staff were lovely friendly & welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for three nights to visit Windsor Castle and surrounding area. Came in the train with the hotel being a short 10 minute walk from Windsor Central. A warm welcome greeted us and we received a complimentary upgrade which was nice. Lovely room well furnished and decorated. Nice bathroom with separate bath and shower. Never had a bath fill so quickly! All the staff without exception are so helpful and friendly. Service great at breakfast and in the bar where we enjoyed our complimentary drinks. Breakfast menu was excellent as was the food. Great location for visiting the castle and town plus exploring Eton following the Eton Walk Way. Would highly recommend on end a stay at this hotel.

What a lovely hidden gem. We were slightly apprehensive about booking a small double but it was actually spacious. Wonderful beds, linen and a fab shower. Lovely stroll through Eton, across the bridge into Windsor. Free welcome drink was a lovely touch too. Breakfast was to die for, good quality and a great choice. Will definately return and recommend. Warm welcoming staff. Nice rooms, each one a bit different but everyone liked their rooms. Lovely breakfast. Couple of us had full English and couple had eggs Benedict. Walking distance to restaurant. Short drive to Legoland in the morning. It’s own little bar was good to chill in. Would recommend.

When I was looking to find a nice Hotel to take my Wife for our Ruby wedding anniversary, I searched for hours looking at Hotels around Windsor. For some reason I kept on coming back to Christopher Hotel. I`m so glad I did. We had a lovely 2 night stay there. Nothing was too much trouble and everything run as planned. Sam & Graham were very hands on and were a delight to talk to. The room we had was well presented and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower over a free standing bath had copious amounts of hot water. Breakfast was good too. I had the full English both days and it was very good indeed. The Hotel is situated in the High Street of Eaton but is only a 5 minute walk to the bridge that crosses the Thames that takes you into Windsor. We visited Bill`s for food and also The Windsor Grill. Both very good. A visit to the castle is a must. At £28 (advance ticket) I was thinking it was a lot of money & not really being into Royalty I wasn`t too fussed about seeing it. However, it is most definitely worth a visit. Changing of the guard takes place near to the road entrance of the castle at 11.00 near to the town end. One last tip given to us by Sam. The entrance to Christopher Hotel is a little tight especially if your turning into it from either end, however, it is easier if you turn into the road opposite & drive straight across the road to it. My Seat Arona fitted easily through the archway. Parking at the Hotel is recommended at £15 per night as it will cost you a lot more elsewhere. Once booked you get your own space with your name on it which is thoughtful. All in all we were very happy with everything at Christopher Hotel and was as such difficult to fault. This was the loveliest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. We had a special event at Windsor Castle to attend and everyone at the hotel went out of their way to make it memorable. The rooms were amazing- breakfast was fabulous- reception ladies were so friendly
