레 보야저 모텔(Le Voyageur - a Red Collection Hotel)

I spent one night. I did stay here during an "off-season" time period, so I didn't have to deal with the typical hustle and bustle of an "in-season" stay in Wildwood. That being said, the check-in process was simple and fast. The room was clean and looked newly renovated. I had a room on the first floor and without a pool view. The pool was not in operation. My room had a balcony, but it overlooked the back parking lot. I would not have used the balcony, had I wanted to, because it overlooked the parking lot. My stay, overall, served it's purpose. I needed a clean room, with a clean and nice bathroom, and comfortable enough beds. I have a few small issues I'll share about my stay. One, the television remote had tape covering the area where the battery cover should have been. Two, there were small children staying in the room above me. I could hear them running around above me, and I could also hear people in the hallway more than I would like had the hotel been full of guests. If you want a quiet place to stay, this might not be for you. I imagine it is much louder and noisier during the high season in Wildwood. Overall, my stay was good and I would recommend Le Voyageur if someone were to ask me if they should stay there.

Delightful stay at Le Voyageur even though it was the last day of winter. Room was excellent and clean and the location near the boardwalk was great. When checking in ask for Rose since she was so helpful and terrific to talk with.

Rose is the most welcoming hostess in Wildwood… the hotel section looks like it was just redone - including microwave coffee pot and full refrigerator. Upgrades underway on property. CLEAN

The hotel room was very clean and updated. I interacted with the office staff and with the maid during my stay. Both were friendly and helpful.

Rose at the front desk was great. She was very friendly and helpful. Very convenient/close to the boardwalk, beach and various places to eat. Water pressure in the shower could have been better and maybe offering some kind of breakfast for the amount of money that the rooms were I have no complaints. I would stay again.

The staff was not very friendly at check in and the pool closed way too early. 7pm is too early to close a pool without a lifeguard. We came back to the room and my kids wanted go swimming, but there was not enough time. The staff at the front desk came across as she could not be bothered with us.

The reason we picked this hotel was because it offered a room with 1Q, 1D & 1S. We wanted mutiple bed options, although beds and pillows are quite firm. It also has a full size fridge/frezer if you want that. Housekeeping came daily, which is nice and doesn't happen many places anymore. The pool is nice but pool hours are 9-7, so it ends quite early. The whole place is in need of new paint, it is peeling and chipped everywhere. There is also no lights in their iconic signs, which gives it a run down feel. It was just an ok stay, nothing spectacular.

The motel appeared to be under construction but that didn’t bother me. The sheets, pillow cases, and the shower curtain had someone’s hair on them indicating they weren’t cleaned/changed before our arrival. 1 of the beds had black stains on the sheets which was disgusting to me. The blankets also has someone else’s hair on them. It was too late to contact the office about it because they closed. The next day, the sheets smelled like laundry detergent so they appeared to be changed. The blankets were the same just folded. I bought some sheets from Walmart and put them on the bed because I didn’t trust them at that point. The place appeared to be clean other than that. But I disinfected it myself anyway. The kitchenette was convenient. The location was great. Also I’ve never been at a hotel/motel where they solicit for tips with an envelope on the table. Not that I found a reason to too but let me initiate it if I feel compelled by excellent service which I didn’t.

This will be the last time I stay in this place.
