Staff were attentive, friendly and just plain perfect. Room was clean, spacious and again perfect. 14oz ribeye steaks were cooked perfectly. Food was well worth the price.

Holli, the Senior Sales Manager, made our stay truly unforgettable. She reached out before our arrival to help us celebrate my wife's birthday and had chilled champagne and delicious cheesecake waiting in our room when we checked in. That evening, Jacob, our waiter, provided exceptional service and even arranged a table for us in the Speakeasy before the live music began. Our steak dinner was one of the best we've ever had, perfectly prepared and full of flavor, and breakfast the next morning was equally delightful. From start to finish, this was easily one of the very best hotel experiences we've had in Wichita.

The corner rooms a spacious with a great view. The only thing keeping this place from a 5star rating is the road noise. The hotel sits on the main drag for the younger croud on weekends, so it was noisy until around 1am when the hot rodding drivers finally went home.

When I arrived and pulled up in the front of hotel for check in the valet, when I said I was going to self park he told me I needed to get my truck out of his driveway. So this was my first impression of the ambassador. Woman at the check-in was very nice. Parking was terrible for me when I came back in with my suitcase. This one staff member kept trying to take it from me and I told her I could do it myself. Staff was just too clingy at times. There were no refrigerators in the room for my drinks. I don’t drink pop and what I wanted wasn’t in the vending machines I guess because I never went to look for them. No ice machines. If you wanted ice, you had to call down and ask them to bring it up totally inappropriate. When I was checking out, I found out they did have an ice machine on three, but I was on 10. Noise level in my room was terrifically bad. Motorcycles racing, and gunning up and down the street well into the in early morning. Hotel staff is aware of this but stated it would cost $1300 for each window to be replace. I think when they built this hotel they tried to cut costs, so we get to suffer. I was on the 10th floor and I could hear the traffic noise all the time. They did have a noise machine, which was very nice, but it didn’t really block out any of the street noises Staff in the dining room were very nice and the manager came out and spoke with us. Food was great.Needless to say I would not stay in this hotel again nor would I recommend it.

Had a nice weekend stay. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable and had a great dinner at the restaurant at the hotel. Also enjoyed the speak easy!

The Hotel is in the heart of downtown with awesome views from the higher floors. The lobby area is impressive and the folks wonderful to deal with. A manager emailed me the day before to be sure I had her contact info and Chad texted me immediately after checking in to be sure everything was ok. My 8th floor suite was on the SW corner. The room was very nicely decorated and the bathroom was all marble.

Nice finishings, excellent service, rooms with space to be comfortable, and excellent room service the way it used to be. My wife was very happy while I went off to work. Great job all. BTW that was the best club sandwich I think I have ever had.

We had booked a room so we could be close to the Century II where our event was being held. When we arrived to check in after a long drive (9:30pm), we were told the hotel had an "HVAC issue" that led to them shutting down a couple of floors. We were told they didn't have a room for us. No advance call, no warning. They rebooked us at another Mariott property, an Aloft, hotel which was 30 minutes away and made for transportation and parking issues. It totally changed our trip and the Aloft we were sent to was not very nice. While the hotel did find us a room and comped our room, the total lack of communication in the hours leading up to our arrival was extremely disappointing. Being told by the staff that the Aloft we were rebooked at was only "5 minutes away" when it was 30 minutes away was also misleading and disappointing. To add to it, I now am on some sort of Ambassador and Mariott marketing email lists that are pretty excessive. The entire experience could and should have been handled better by the hotel with some advance communication.

Our room was perfect! The personal was amazing! Definitely we will choose this hotel again! Everything was clean, they knew what we wanted from the beginning! Definitely worth it!
