Great first visit to Whitby Hotel in the best location Parking very close by Early afternoon check in. Friendly welcome. Nice room, very clean. Very comfy bed and pillows. Spacious bathroom with bath and shower. Had a great breakfast in the Weather spoons pub part of the hotel. Always great value. Overall very good, would definitely stay again.

Had a marvellous stay at The Angel Whitby, first time staying in a Wetherspoons hotel but won’t be the last. Room was large with a balcony overlooking the harbour. Good king size bed, good bathroom, walk in shower, tea, coffee, water & biscuits, all for a reasonable price. Check in easy & was warmly welcomed by the lovely receptionist (sorry I didn’t get your name) all staff pleasant throughout our stay.

Lovely 2 night stay. Room was immaculate and plenty of room. Comfy bed and pillows. Staff were very helpful. Check in was easy. Will definitely stay here again. We asked for an extra pillow which was delivered straight away. We ate in the pub, again very clean. We ate on the 2nd floor as it was easy to access from the lift, very quiet too couldn't here any noise from bar.

Great hotel, everything you need for an enjoyable stay in whitby. Everything that whitby has to offer is right on your doorstep .Lovely clean modern rooms and part of witherspoons. Cheap beer and good food is a plus . Great location, I definitely will be back.

Just home from a very relaxed long weekend staying at the Angel. Room 204 with balcony was great. Spotlessly clean, super comfy bed, amazing pillows and plenty of coffee a bonus. Great stay and can’t wait to visit again. Those pillows are 10/10

Excellent stay.The room was clean and coffee and biscuits a nice touch.The window wouldn't stay shut which was a bit annoying but didn't spoil our stay.We had a quiet night. As usual the bar area served a lovely and reasonable breakfast with friendly and efficient staff. The ladies on the reception were warm and welcoming. The doorstaff had to deal with a group of badly behaved middle aged men but handled the situation really well. Would recommend.

unbelievable value as you come to expect from the brand. We got the last room available which was the lowest grade and it was just great. Very comfy bed, top quality bedding / sheets and pillows along with crisp white good quality towels. Room very well presented and exceptionally clean. Excellent bathroom, Definitely be back

Easy, friendly check-in and a spacious room with everything needed for a three night stay. The room was a little tired but housekeeping was good and overall this was good value for money. Rooms are just a few steps away from the usual Wetherspoon offer at the bar but overall the hotel area was very quiet in a great central location for exploring Whitby.

Another great stay in Whitby. The rooms are a decent size, very clean, the beds are comfy shower powerful and hot. Tea, coffee, bottled water in each room. Great location, check in staff were friendly and helpful. We have stayed a few times now and would recommend.
