Weymouth

We stay at the hotel for two nights. Three days. The surroundings were full of rubbish and broken bottles. The grounds need to be cleaned and maybe add a few plants. On the second night, my husband and our eldest child were woken by loud movement on the second floor at 2 in the morning. Moving around and voices. This went on for an hour. I went down to complain at 3am! The man on the desk said sorry but they have only just checked in! I’m sorry but why allow guests to check in so late and be loud. On leaving, three staff members were all sat around. One with her feet up on the sofa! Not very professional. No one said goodbye! The hotel is a good location by car to the front.

Stayed Easter weekend. Rooms clean tidy and quiet. But I do have take ssue with the appalling way this site is managed. On arrival the lad on reception was by himself and due to a system issue was unable to issue key cards. Fair enough systems go wrong, my issue is the complete lack of support he recieved from his manager, leaving him to fend for himself with 20 unhappy customers. Staffing levels at this site are obviously company policy, but to expect one member of staff to cope with all check-in's alone especially on a busy bank holiday weekend , when each morning you regularly see 3 or 4 staff at reception when the full extent of check out is the return of your key card, is completely beyond me. Praise should be passed onto to the lad working on reception Friday and Saturday afternoon.

The QUALITY of the hotel room was acceptable. However, 6 hours to check in is far from acceptable. I wasn’t the only guest experiencing delays by a long way, many were, but I would be surprised if many waited longer. I arrived at 3.10pm and got into my room at 9.15pm. The reason for the delay was explained to me but that should be the company’s problem, not the guests’. I had paid for my room in full approx a month in advance, and was offered not a single penny refund to compensate for the massive inconvenience. Breakfast was chaotic due to the hotel being full and too many guests arriving for breakfast at the same time. The breakfast staff did their best but were losing. The final insult was putting my coffee on the table to join the queue for food, only to find that it had been ‘cleared away’ on my return. I normally enjoy staying at Premier Inn, but not this time.

We arrived on Good Friday to chaos at the check in but it was sorted by the lovely Rhiannon who not only did a days work but then had to clean rooms in the evening - well done her for making a bad situation alright - the rest of the stay - three nights - was great with what you expect from a premier inn - Thank you to all the staff

It is impossible to park at this hotel because it has become an HGV truck stop. Massive HGVs with generators and gas cylinders on board. The smell of diesel in the car park is overwhelming. The Receptionist telephoned his manager who was not in the slightest bit interested. Shocking! We’re stuck here for two weeks but won’t ever stay here again.

Great service but one thing they really stood out for me . Rhiannon on reception desk had a particularly awkward customer that she dealt with with fantastic professionalism. Unfazed by the ordeal she the went above and beyond to ensure I had a great booking in experience . Top marks

Booked and paid for breakfast only to be told at reception that they had prioritised non-hotel bookings for mother day and no breakfast was available. Better off going to hotel that provides breakfast ! No respect for regular guests. Annoyed and disappointed

Arrived to have to wait for ages before being seen. Room 1....not right Room 2..Full of damp with mould up 2 walls...powder thrown over floor to mask smell which was disgusting Room 3..noise all night from air conditioner...no sleep at all.

We stay at Premier Inns a lot but sadly found our stay here awful. The reception lady was extremely curt, grumpy and in no way welcoming, not even a hint of a smile. The corridors were really dirty, looking like they’d not been vacuumed for days. Our room was filthy with stains up the walls with a toilet that clearly hadn’t been cleaned and only one towel. We were given another towel when we finally found the reception lady who just handed one over without a word. It seemed pointless to try and change rooms given the attitude on reception and the general dirtiness of the building. Very disappointing when we’d paid over £100 for the night and normally find premier inns to be clean, comfortable and welcoming. Sadly, the only positive part was that the bed linen was clean.
