If you are looking for a 5 star luxury spiritless hotel you better look somewhere else… But if you wish to spend some time in a true nature paradise with a cosy and family feel you are in the right place ! We had a great stay in one of the ocean access villa which comes with its own garden and pool just by the sea, where you will witness the most amazing sunsets unless you wish to enjoy them from the 100 meter long pier sipping a cocktail. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Service in the restaurant is sometimes a little bit amateur but this is part of the unique charm of this place. Food is pretty nice which is also a plus. It is laid in the middle of a jungle like garden you can explore and where you will spot monkeys during the day or bush babies at night. I definitely recommend this super relaxing green paradise !

This is paradise for sure: Luxurious individual villas in midst of a small jungle close to the ocean. Breakfast and dinner included in the package. A five course menu for dinner with absolutely nothing to complain about. You don’t want to ever leave this place. And the whole staff is always taking care of every detail.

Best holiday ever!!! The resort is amazingly beautiful. The nature is so alive, so greeen, so clean… The rooms are always clean and soooo beautiful… every detail is so lush, so chic… The stuff are the best !!! A beautiful resort set on a beautiful, rugged, tropical coastline. Immaculate rooms, charming service, great food. An experience that we will cherish. A possibly less visited corner of Zanzibar, our experiences exceeded our expectations and we smile every time we reminisce.

We celebrated our Anniversary at Zanzi resort and it's a perfect sanctuary! We stayed in a private villa that had its own pool, which was such a treat. The villa was beautiful and clean. It was equipped with great air conditioning! The food was incredible and the service was above and beyond. The staff are very accommodating and so very kind. The resident Bush Babies kept us most amused.! They set up dinner for us at the end of the Pier one night. We watched the sunset, and it made our anniversary extra special. The only thing that would make it better, is how they described our Villa in the booking. We were expecting an ocean view room, which it was not at all. The wording led us to believe it was. S So just be extra careful when you book, if that is something you are expecting. In the end we were very happy with our stay there and would highly recommend the Zanzi Resort. The Zanzi Resort is a beautiful resort nestled in the Jungle with beach access to the Indian Ocean. We stayed in an ocean view bungalow with our own private pool. Our accommodations were spacious and well thought out. We had direct access to a small beach. We chose the 1/2 board option and the food for breakfast and dinner were top notch! Thanks chef John for your innovative meals! Tours can easily be arranged thru the hotel, as can lovely spa treatments, which I indulged in on several occasions. I can’t begin to describe how pretty it is here. The very best part was the staff. They were all so kind. They made you feel like family. Alex, Joshua and all the rest, thank-you for making our stay here so memorable!

Me and my partner we live in Zanzibar so we went only for the afternoon and dinner but we know already now that we will come back. I loved the garden and lots of small details and lovely corners = swings, sunset drink at the jetty, place for petanque, beautifully decorated restaurant. We have seen also the new villa with a private swimming pool and it is gorgeous! But most importantly, the food was super tasty, I had so tasty octopus! Thank you, Yulia! We will come back :)

Everything has already been written here. We have been to many great resorts. But Zanzi Ressort topped them all, it was simply wonderful. We had half board, had a late breakfast but ordered the first coffee to the villa for 8:30. That worked perfectly. The dinner was great every evening. My wife and I will definitely miss the tuna and red snapper, but also the delicious beef fillet. No matter what there was, it was always of the best quality and preparation. Our little beach was wonderful, but we mostly stayed at the pool villa with its own beach access. Zanzi dream resort, we will definitely come back!
