As I was admitted to hospital, we were unable to use our booking, so cannot comment on the location, cleanliness, service or facilities. Had we been provided with a working telephone number for the hotel, we would have done the courtesy of letting them know. I suppose I could have made up a glowing review, to earn the 50 Trip coin bonus. Is offering a reward for a review a bribe?

The premises and room were immaculate and the staff very welcoming and friendly. Great price for a Sunday night and despite being along the A1 had a quiet night. Highly recommend.

The worst place I’ve ever stayed. Overpriced and beyond basic. I’ve found out since it’s where homeless people are put if there’s no housing available. Avoid at all costs it’s awful.

Emergency booking due to broken down car so not prepared. Lisa H very understanding and helpful with lots of bits we needed for a restful night, could not have been more welcoming. Lots of tips of where to eat and get bits due to gluten intolerance.

The stay was really relaxing, even just for 1 night. It was very clean, really comfortable and there was a lovely welcome from the overnight staff member.

Perfect stopover to break up your journey when travelling onwards. Accessible from both sides of A1 and although on A1 it's very quiet. Staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are very clean. Highly recommend for sole travellers
