슐로스 호텔 바서부르크(Schloss Hotel Wasserburg)

The hotel is a castle with traditional design. But we will not go there again. The food is mediocre, the building is obviously old and not fresh; but the management proved to be inconsiderate in our case. Here is our experience: Due to confusion, our check-out day was a Friday and not the next day Saturday as thought. And although I had breakfast that day by the office, and my wife was in the room till noon, no effort was made to alert us of the check-out by noon that day. When we returned to the hotel that day at about 430pm from our business engagement we were greeted by angry receptionists, and management had removed all our clothing and belongings from our room and placed them in our suitcases and various items in dirty plastic vegetable bins. And all these items were in a hallway whereby anybody could see them or handle them. The room was booked to others, and they wanted us out. Never before were we insulted like this. However, its important to note that we were at this hotel for 3 weeks, and paid 2,500 Euro. Is this the way to treat customers as us? Their behavior was inconsiderate, unacceptable and unforgivable regardless of booking confusion.

We had a great 3 day stay at the property. Very ancient building (1350 !). Rooms were very authentic, quiet and comfortable. Bathroom a bit small. Great view on the BodenSee. Breakfast buffet very nice. Restaurant has magnificent view on the lake. Would highly recommend for a romantic escape.

not a place we would ever visit again. This is our 4th stay. We booked it for two nights on our two month nostalgic driving vacation. We had stayed here three times before, brought other couples and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Not this time. First room given to us was tiny and dark, small window up high. No view. Our other two choices were a little better but for over $200.00 a night we felt like we were in an upmarket youth hostel. Nothing was granted to us for being repeat guests. After almost two months of staying in France, Austria and Germany this is absolutely the worst hotel of our trip.

Not a 4 star hotel , no private beach unsafe totally run down. Not suitable for older people stairs everywhere.

The location was great, the lady at the reception was extremely friendly, also at the restaurant the service was friendly, but the fat owner was very unfriendly.. we just tried to celebrate our friends birthday, we were the only guests in the all restaurant and there was no speakers around us so we tought we´ll turn on some birthday music when we give him the cake.. of course it was a problem for the owner because the music is too loud (from handy), he was arguing also because of our dogs ( i tought is a dogfriendly hotel ), but probably they hate dogs they just wanna earn good money. actually it costs 15€/dog /night even if they are antiallergic or just 1,5kg. The breakfast was poor when we asked for some more croissant they said there is no more.. Because of the location and a part of the staff we would be happy to come back, but because of the owner we wont come back ever.. hopefully he will learn once how to be nice with guests. i´ll give 2 star because of the 2 nice person from staff

Fabulous property, fabulous view of lake. Excellent lake.

The internet did not work in room, answer was the walls are thick and difficult to provide service. Can use in hall or dining room. If internet does not work then should be advertised that way, not ';free internet'. If it does not work it is 'free'

Hotel was wonderful! We had a suite that was spacious, and beautifully decorated. Lovely view of The Bodensee from our room. Restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast.
