페어필드 하우스(Fairfield House)

We had a most enjoyable 3 night stay in the Sanderson room with sleigh bed and excellent en suite. Mandy has huge experience of running a top notch guesthouse and knows exactly what her guests expect, but than adds all the details to go above and beyond, such as cakes in reception every evening and fresh milk in the reception fridge. Fairfield is a beautiful Victorian villa 5 minutes walk from the village pubs and the magnificent Warkworth Castle. The zen garden complete with ducklings is superbly designed and maintained. I imagine this is not achieved without a great deal of hard and time consuming work, so if you stay please appreciate just how much effort Mandy and Kevin are putting in. Just like Mother Duck in the garden-all is serene, but paddling hard beneath the surface! Thanks Mandy for your warmth and endeavour which was much appreciated by us both.

Just back from a two night stay at the stunning Fairfield House (not long enough!) A very warm and friendly welcome from Mandy who along with Kevin catered for your every need !! A fridge is provided in the hall with fresh milk for you to take along with homemade yummy cakes each day. A lounge and patio area for you to sit and admire the beautiful garden. Our room The Peony was beautifully furnished with quality linen and big white fluffy towels/robes and the large bathroom with underfloor heating . A good variety of options for breakfast and my husband and I enjoyed the hearty cooked breakfast and also the french cinnamon toast ...a work of art in itself !!! We had the best stay and are planning when to return again. Thank you Mandy and Kevin.

Lovely warm room, spotlessly clean. Facilities were excellent and owners very friendly. Plenty of teas and coffees available, plus some delicious homemade shortbread. Breakfast was fabulous and plenty of choice. Area is stunning and plenty of places to have evening meals. We would highly recommend.

Beautiful B and B in Warkworth run by the lovely Mandy aided and abetted by her husband😍 we arrived to a warm welcome into this beautiful house. Our bedroom was The Mackintosh it was comfortable and had everything any guest could possibly need, gorgeous bed linen, gowns, very nice bathroom with fluffy towels free toiletries everything good quality. Also, the garden is so nice we could only appreciate it from indoors but would love to return in nice weather. Tea and coffee in room but also served downstairs with home made shortbread which was delicious, our breakfast was beautiful, continental then a good cooked breakfast menu. Nothing was too much trouble for Mandy and when we left we felt like we’d made a new friend. We will definitely return and can totally recommend Fairfield House

It is a number of years now since we last visited Northumberland and Fairfield House - a certain pandemic got in the way. It was so lovely to return to this very special place and meet up with Mandy (the owner) again. This is a B & B like no other as Mandy has thought of everything you could possibly need. A coffee maker in the entrance hall with delicious fresh cakes for her guests to enjoy after her lovely friendly welcome. The bedrooms are spotless, again with everything you need. A well stocked hospitality tray,wine glasses, bathrobes and the most luxurious bedding. Good supply of fluffy towels and toiletries in the bathroom. There is also a wonderful garden for guests to enjoy. This is a B & B you have to book early as so many guests return year after year. If you are to get a room you will not be disappointed.

Excellent in every way. Lots of little touches on top that make this exceptional. Only complaint is that it has set such a high standard it has spoilt us for any B&B stay anywhere else. Recommendations for evening meals in Warkworth & Amble were spot on.

Its like Mary Poppins land. Its all practically perfect in every way. The welcome, the room, the garden, the facilities, and that breakfast!!! Mandy. Aka Mary Poppins is just a delightful host. Very natural lady who knows exactly how to look after you during your stay. She makes treats every day. Cakes and biscuits at the coffee station. Breakfasts are absolutely delicious after cereals and fruit choose from plentiful list including a full english, local Kippers and cinnamon french toast to name a few options, but Mandy is very accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. The garden is beautiful and we really enjoyed looking at the variety of plants etc. Its a great location for seahouses, Bamburgh, Amble, Alnwick etc. This is a high quality guest house, with exceptional hosts and stunning features. We can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Mandy and team.

Perfectly perfect in every way: Decor, size and comfort of bedrooms, spotless, delicious breakfast. Hospitality superb. Little touches including home made cakes, provided free of charge. Beautiful tended gardens. Very quiet.

We stayed two nights while walking the Northumberland coast path. The home is beautiful and Mandy is a great host. She allowed us to leave our car until the end of our walk. She also makes fresh pastries daily!
